Clean, quiet, single-solo, non-smoker, problem solver.

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Please let me know if you have any preferences regarding my arrival, greeting and departure. I may be gone during the day running errands, etc. in which case my site may look abandoned, but I will let you know if I leave early. I have not had any virus symptoms or known exposure. To contact me when there, please text, message or --softly-- knock on driver's side door, not the sliding door.

I'm always volunteering on several self-directed projects. Details and bio on www.EcoNeato.org. My income is from an early Army pension, savings and good investments. I also live relatively frugal.

I've been living and traveling solo in my custom innovative small motorhome since January, 2016. I'd like a travel companion, a replacement dog and a nice house, but have been finding it all very challenging when I have high standards. That's why I'm still in the little motorhome, but that's OK for now, it allows me to live more than one life traveling full time with ultimate freedom.

My diet is very strict healthy which excludes most restaurants, processed food, added sugar, bottled/canned beverages, etc.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Problem solving. Information about, but not performing a lot of work regarding: Off grid tiny homes / vans / RVs, mechanics, electronics, plumbing. High interest in science, travel, health / diet and much more. I'm an excellent and fast dog trainer, so if you have a young dog that you would like me to train, I'd be happy to spend some time training for free while I'm there. You can also watch to learn how to continue the training.

EcoNeato.org's Pets

Not at this time, but am looking for a toy/mini Aussie / Poodle to adopt. Breeder and shelters have been horrible to deal with, but I'll keep trying. I'm an excellent and fast dog trainer, so if you have a young dog that you would like me to train, I'd be happy to spend some time training for free while I'm there. You can also watch to learn how to continue the training.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Anywhere peaceful when the weather is mild. There are many places I would love to boondock for a long time, but due to impeding weather changes and campground stay limits, I am forced to keep moving.

EcoNeato.org's Hometown

No home town, I'm a nomad. I might buy a house, but am picky and haven't found the right one. I was born in Ohio, 1969, moved to Texarkana, Texas at age 8 in 1977, joined the Army in 1987 at age 18 and have lived in about 50 different places around the country. I have not yet been to Hawaii but have been to Alaska, but that was in 1988. I'm an Oregon resident, but have no home base there; it's just my legal address.

I prefer to park on a level surface, if not, I have levels. To contact me, please message, text or knock on driver's side door softly. I may be gone during the day running errands, etc. in which case my site may look abandoned, but I will let you know if I leave early. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. I have been living in full time and custom building this since January 2016. I don't build out or repair much for others because it's too much work and liability, but I do share the plans online at econeato.org. I did the best I know how, but am sure some things can be done better. If you spot anything, your feedback is welcome. I'd be happy to give a tour of the vehicle or answer any questions as well as see your rig if anything interesting.

Very interesting man

This guy is interesting to talk to and very helpful with troubleshooting and giving ideas for ‘geeky’ stuff. He is very patient explaining technical issues and I can’t stress enough how helpful he was. We really enjoyed visiting with him. If you get a chance to host him - just do it!

Lives up to the Username!

EcoNeato is a really cool dude!!! You should host him just so you can check out his amazing traveling technology van! You’ve never seen a rig as interesting as his. His knowledge and help with a challenge I had with my rig makes him a genuine generous Boondocker. Worldly and wise, we had a great time hosting EcoNeato and in a time when people are on guard, this is a consummate gentleman. Highly recommend considering his request if he needs a place to stage.

Interesting

We enjoyed meeting & getting acquainted with this guest. He spent all day away & was here mostly to rest for the night. We had nice conversations in the shade of our yard, socially distancing. He required nothing from us. Quiet, we’d have him back again.
