We have a dog named JJ that travels with us. The cat stays home .
East coast to the Mississippi
Penn Yan, New York
22’ travel trailer with one slide and 2015 Silverado 1/2 ton .
We enjoyed hosting them very much. We had several nice visits sitting under our tree next to there camper. No one needs to be concerned about their dog. We have never been around a more pleasant and well behaved dog. We watched him a short time while they were gone and he never barked or was any trouble at all. They and their dog are welcome back any time.
We unfortunately didn't meet them (we were out of town during their stay) but they were respectful guests. Would happily host again (and hope to meet them next time!).
We have been blessed 3 times to have hosted these fine folks. They are very respectful of our property and just fun to be around.
We highly recommend anyone having the opportunity to host these people to do so.
These folks were a pleasure to meet. We had great communications before they arrived and everything went well. It rained most of the time during their visit so we didn't get to talk much. They are welcome back anytime.
Very nice couple and able to maneuver their RV in tight spaces, always a plus.
Beautiful plot of land perfect for a quiet stay. The host was very generous and gave a lot of info about the surrounding area. Thank you again!
Mike was great, he met us there when we got there and we had a chance to visit. He has a nice level spot and also has 20 amp electric available.
Very accommodating host! Recommend visiting. Love the Finger Lakes area. Beautiful farm country. Thanks again Easy Money!
Good communication. Met us there and offered 15 amp for battery charging. Great spot in the Finger Lakes. Quiet grassy area to spend the night. Thank you.
Easy Money was very friendly and met us at his boondocking location when we arrived with brochures on activities in the area. The place was out in the country, yet close to several points of interest. A nice quiet night~ my only regret is that I only planned for one night here. I will definitely plan a longer stay on my next trip through! Thanks for offering your place, I hope to be back.
We enjoyed this host and location so much that we stayed an additional night. We were lucky enough to get a tour of his car collection -- yet another host with an amazing talent. Our host also provided tourist info when we arrived - hence our need to extend a day! The hike he suggested was a really nice day out in the sunshine to a beautiful waterfall spot.
It was so nice to check out a new location and meet a couple of new friends (JJ the dog was a very sweet assistant to our host) and we really enjoyed chatting.
Highly recommend -- just not when we're rolling through next time! :)
Our host was delightful with a wonderful pooch. Would gladly stay there again!
Our host was welcoming and shared useful information about the area. The site is level with little road noise at night. It is located near bicycle trails which we enjoyed using, We would definitely stay here again.
Another good stay with Easy Money. Convenience and quiet all in one location. Thanks M.
We enjoyed our stay very much at easy money. The house was very friendly and accommodating especially the day that we were supposed to leave when my RV would not start. It is very helpful and allowed us to stay until we got the RV running which thankfully was later on that afternoon. But highly recommend this place quiet easy to get in and out not that far from town. I give it five stars.
A great place to sit back and unwind
Nice place........nice people.........what more could you want
M was so accommodating to us and made us feel so welcomed. We enjoyed seeing his car collection and of course talking about old cars and tractors. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great stay at Easy Money. The owner was very responsive by text and was very easy to deal with. He has quite a collection of cars in his garage and he even allowed my husband to drive some of his tractors 😊. Getting in was fairly easy and the site is quite level. We had a great experience !!
My husband and I stayed at Easy Money Host location for two nights. Mike is very hospitable and welcomed us when we arrived. He gave us great ideas of things to do in the area and we took a really beautiful bike ride on the Outlet Trail from Penn Yan to Dresden. We enjoyed seeing his collection of beautifully restored cars and Farm equipment as well! Wonderful location to enjoy the beautiful Keuka Lake!
Wonderful, level, grassy spot for parking. Our 22ft campervan fit perfectly, but so would much larger RVs. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay, even with the amount of rain that hit the area, much needed rain, the place where we set up camp was very dry. It was so peaceful overlooking all the farm lands surrounding us. Easy Money was an excellent host, he was so kind to give us pamphlets or the surrounding area and wrote down some great places to visit! Thank you so much for that!! We would love to go back again!!
Nice spot with a friendly, gracious host. He greeted and welcomed us then proceeded to share some local attractions for us to visit during our stay. Lovely, scenic area.
We loved staying at Easy Moneys place! Our hosts were so genuine, kind, and helpful; assisting us with our hitch, filling our water jugs, and giving us info about the area. We were so happy to meet them and hear about their experiences traveling and hosting. JJ the dog was just as friendly and sweet! We hope to be back again!!
Easy Money is a very gracious host. I've stayed here a couple of times. He helped me beyond all expectations on my last visit. Great place to stay and great host.
I just spent a night at this location and the hosts had to be gone but they made sure to leave lots of instructions for where to park so it was easy.
Nice and quiet. Gorgeous area of NY and I found a handful of brochures in the handle of my truck tuck the next morning.
Thanks guys. 👋
An excellent experience. The Host was friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our visit at this site. Would happily visit again.
Our host met us and guided us in to his great spot. We had met this couple at another host's place, so we took them up on coming to their place. So glad we did....gave us so much info on the area, directions to places and eatery. Enjoyed chatting with them. Just a great stay!
Gorgeous drive in and a beautiful, lush spot. If only we had more time!!
Safe roomy spot, friendly host and beautifully restored classic cars! What more could you ask for? Mike and his pup, JJ, greeted us and helped get us situated as well as provided some great tips of the surrounding area. Don’t miss the farm market just down the street from the property! What a great local community and stay, I can’t wait to return to the area. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hosts like you are what truly make this site special!
We arrived earlier than expected at the site. Easy Money was busy for a while in town. When he did arrive, we were given a choice of parking spots. Because of the constant rain for a few days my solar was not doing a good job of keeping my batteries charged and we were allowed to connect to the electrical outlet. We were also given some literature on things to do in the area. The friendly dog was a great good will ambassador!
He then showed us his shop and restored cars. We were suppose to stay two nights but because it was raining the next morning, we decided to move on instead of trying to bike in the rain.
We felt very comfortable at this site and would definitely recommend Easy Money’s site to anyone needing a quiet place to boondock for a night or two.
A nice place to stay. He provided 20 amp service. Thank you for showing us your restored cars and tractors. Beautiful work ,. Would like to return one day
Easy money is a wonderful host, who provides a restful setting with easy access, in a location that is surrounded by interesting things to see and do. Easy money shared his great collection of restored cars, tractors and latest metal project, all of which display his skills as a very talented person with a love for all things mechanical. I was especially honored to have been taken on a brief tour of the "neighborhood" in a beautifully restored 1937 Ford and share a local coffee shop experience with a few of the regulars for the daily update. This stay was an especially memorable highlight on a very long journey.
Mike and Gail were fantastic hosts! It was our first BW experience and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. The spot is very peaceful and level. Great place to walk our dog while we watched the Amish buggies drive by. Great place to stay while enjoying the finger lakes area. Mike was very informative and gave us a map of the area. Thanks Mike and Gail! We will be back!
we stayed 2 nights. good spot to visit the wineries from.
we would also recommend visiting the watkins glen gorge
Great stay overnight. Great host, thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. It was especially neat to receive a mini-tour of the older vehicles that he had restored. The site is close to a highway, so the late night truck traffic might be a little noisey for some folks.
This is our 2nd stay at Easy Moneys locstion.
They are great hosts, very welcoming and friendly.
Highly Recommend
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay with Easy Money. The location is perfect for exploring the Finger Lakes area. Directions were excellent and site was level and easy to maneuver around. We enjoyed meeting Mike, Gail and especially JJ the dog.
Easy Money is a convenient & easy place to find.
It was peaceful & the Host is a very interesting person to converse with.
I enjoyed my stay & I definitely recommend this wonderful location.
Yes! I would stop here again!
Thank you,
Chuck
So glad we finally got to meet this lovely couple. They are warm and welcoming and provided great info and tips about things to do in the area. Location is very convenient for exploring. I look forward to coming back again!
Mike was very kind and helpful during our one night stay. His car collection is very neat and JJ was great company. Mike also provided us with lots of information about surrounding things to do. Thanks again Mike and JJ, highly recommended.
Thank you , I am return for a second time becauce it’s a nice place and the people it’s very frendly
This lovely spot was a great place to spend the night. I watched Amish buggies ride down the road from my window. The host met me and was kind enough to show me his classic car collection-I am not a car person, but these were beautiful. The host's dog was also nice enough to romp around with my pup. Thank you so much to easymoney!
Had a great stay. Mike is a wonderful host. Took time to show us his older cars and talked about them and the tractors. Suggested we stop at the Glenn Curtis museum in Hammondsport which we did and really enjoyed. Lots of old bicycles, motorcycles, cars, airplanes and parts of them. Look forward to stopping with him again.
Our host Mike and Gail are nice people… When we got there our car would not start and Mike helped us by using his jumper cables, he also gave us a nice packet of information Of the area, told us a location for a nice restaurant and a nice fruit stand across the road from us… We highly recommend Mike and Gail for a Boondockers stop… Mike also showed us his antique cars which were amazing..
Great Host!!
The host provided us with lots of great information on the area and also a recommendation for supper. It was like going to a mini car museum!!
This was our first BW stay and the bar is set high! If all hosts are like Mike (easy money) we’ve hit the jackpot with BW! Mike communicated easily and frequently with us to make sure he could be there when we arrived. His place is beautifully settled among farmlands in a private area. We broke a stabilizer jack on our rig earlier in the day, and as we began settling in - Mike began to fix our jack! With Drills and bolts, he had it fixed in no time! We got a welcome packet of local attractions, electricity for hook ups and a quiet stay on beautiful land. Thank you Mike for your hospitality!
An affable host and lovely countryside make this a great spot to spend the night.
This being our first Boondockers Welcome experience, we didn't know what to expect and let me just say that the bar has been set pretty high. Our host were incredibly welcoming and absolutely wonderful hosts. They had a packet of info on the area, gave us great suggestions on things to do in the area, provided electricity and welcomed us in for a chat. The spot where we set up was private, quiet and level.
We highly recommend them as a host if you are travelling in the area.
This couple has a very nice quiet site with electricity supplied. They met us at their site and was kind enough to give us a packet of information on places to see and brochures on some of the wineries in the area. If you fancy wineries and tasting rooms this is the area to visit. Thanks again to our hosts.
This was a wonderful stay! The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful during my stay, even though I didn’t need much. They offered for me to pull forward in the lawn after the first night when they got a little snow just in case the ground got soft. One night I used my generator (just to see how much gas it would use) and the other two nights I used their electricity hookup, 20 amps, which worked out awesomely. They gave me good tips on checking out the waterfalls along the local trail which was super helpful. I also got to meet their dog who is super friendly, and thats a huge plus with me being a dog lover:)
It was very quiet and peaceful and just outside a nice little town. While I was here I went to a local coffee shop to do work remotely and they had excellent lattes and service. I believe it was called Affinity Coffee. I used the local community fitness center and got a week pass in order to use their showers and get some workouts in. This is because my van doesn’t have a shower.
This was my very first boondocking experience and it went off perfectly and I would gladly come here again-definitely in the summer months-and I highly recommend this to others:)
We had a great time at Easy Money and wished we would have allowed more time to stay. Penn Yan is very convenient to several lakes and sightseeing. All of the lakes Keuka Lake was our favorite and closest to Penn Yan. Our hosts were very nice and we enjoyed spending some time with them and touring their antique cars. Thanks to our hosts for a great stay and looking forward to a return trip.
Easy Money was easy going and easy to chat with. He restores old cars and tractors, and gladly showed his amazing work with us. He does GREAT work! As an RVer himself, he knows how to make an RVer welcome and comfortable! Only briefly met his wife but wish we could have chatted more with both of them!!
These are wonderful folks with a nice flat place to park your RV. It's in the midst of beautiful farm land and near the gorgeous finger lakes. They've got some really cool cars that Mike restored himself you’ll have to check out while you’re there. He's a pro! Roadside stands with fruits and veggies are all around. I’d stay here again for sure if I’m ever back through.
The hosts and pup JJ
Were friendly and great hosts. Made us feel welcome and like old friends. If you are up their way we highly recommend them.
Great place to stop for finger lakes. Mike's restored cars and tractor are amazing. Will stop again if in the area
This was one of the best boondocking experiences. The property is beautiful, private, very safe. Mike was a most welcoming host and we love his dog J.J. Mike is amazingly talented at restoring old cars and trucks which he keeps on the property. We will definitely stay again if our route comes this way. We highly recommend Mike and Gail's (easy money) place to other boondockers.
We enjoyed our stay so much, they are great hosts! Great hospitality and a beautiful, quiet place to stay.
Hope to visit again one day! :)
Very welcoming. Beautiful farm. Close to town. Had a great time talking to him and viewing his collection of restored cars. The amenities were better than expected. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful plus if needed we could have stayed as long as we wanted.
We highly recommend this place to stay if you are in the area.
We recently had the opportunity to camp with Easy Money in NY and highly recommend you consider this location. Easy in and out and close to Penn Yan. Mike is very friendly and offered up good food suggestions in town. Definitely a great stop!
Our hosts were very welcoming and accomodating, allowing us to spend several days enjoying this finger lakes wine region. They are local so they had alot of great recommendations for the area. Given the opportunity we would definitely return.
Hosts are very accommodating, making sure of safety and comfort! If you find yourself in this wine country, this is a great spot to stay. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and very thoughtful hosts!
We enjoyed 3 days with these folks. The site is great. There are lots of great things to do in the area.
We are with our two daughters one night by Mike and Gail. It was a warm welcome and a great place to stay. If you are there, maybe you can have a look into the garage.
If we are once again in the USA and in this area we will come back again. And if you are in germany you are very welcome.
Best Regards Tom
This was our first BDW experience and we were more than pleased with our hosts. He made sure that we didn't have any problems finding the property. We had a follow up call to touch base, recommended things to do in the area. Made our stay very welcoming. We thank them and will definitely look them up again when we are in the area. A beautiful area with lots to do.If you are ever in our area Easy Money don't hesitate to contact us.
Lisa and I just joined and were greeted by warm, and welcoming host Mike . Thank you so much! we were on the Keuka Lake Christmas wine tour and his farm is very close to the wineries. A perfect place to start the tour! Thanks again Mike and Gail for your generous hospitality. We will be returning soon to the Finger Lakes and hope we can see you again! best! , Lisa and Jim.
A very nice, level and grassy site. We enjoyed talking with this welcoming couple and learning about the area.
We would certainly recommend stopping here.
The site is a very well maintained, grassy area between a farm and a workshop, on highway 14, that is remarkably quiet. The surrounding farming community includes the occasional Mennonite horse and buggy. Easymoney and his wife are such nice people that if feels like you're visiting relatives ! You might want to charge up, dump, and fill before you go as the area doesn't have rv parks nearby.
