Having sold my home, I decided to take a year or two to travel this beautiful country in a small camper. No particular plans other than to try to stay south of the snow line for the winter then head to more temperate climes as spring filters in.
By way of background, I've had a career as an engineer, marketer, and manager in high technology. My interests are quite varied and include bicycling, kayaking, hiking, reading, and being outdoors in general. Always interested in learning new things, exploring new places, and meeting new people.
As a former engineer, I can often figure out fixes for various kinds of problems that arise in households (or campers). Will not be traveling with many tools but happy to assist if you happen to have your own. Fairly good computer and electronic device experience. No woodworking skills and no artisan skills I'm sad to say.
No pets.
I don't know yet but am excited to begin exploring and sharing!
Right now, I have no permanent home but will be living in my camper as I travel around North America. Previously, I lived in beautiful New Hampshire for 43 years. Don't know where I will settle next but returning to New England is a possibility.

Carl was friendly and personable! He was a quiet and considerate guest. Would be happy to host him again.
We enjoyed meeting this nice gentleman when he stopped for the night at Casa Rodriguez. He was a very kind, respectful, and quiet guest. We would definitely welcome him again if he comes back through this area.
Quiet, friendly, interesting conversations. Good luck on your travels. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed hosting Ccarlson! He was a perfect guest - he communicated his plans clearly, and arrived as expected. We enjoyed a fun evening chatting, and then shared a nice bike ride in the morning together.
We would gladly host him again. He is the kind of guest that make us enjoy being Boondocker hosts!
Great guy, he's welcome to stay anytime.
Ccarlson was our first time hosting, woohoo! It’s nice to finally be a host, we met so
Many nice ones on our travels. Ccarlson was very gracious, and showed us his rig. We talked about his and our adventures. We hope he has the best time. Such a nice guy.
Carl, it was good to meet you, and interesting conversation. It goes to prove "It's a Small World After all".
We really enjoyed hosting Ccarlson. Although his visit was short we had time for some interesting conversations - he’s very easy to talk to. He’s definitely welcome back anytime he’s in the area!
Was very happy he was able to stop by and we could provide a quiet place to get some rest. Would be our pleasure to host him again next time he's in the area.
