30 year old couple just traveling the country , enjoying the great outdoors that the USA has to offer. Full time RVers working full time on the road
1 cat that stays inside unless we are at a park or campground
Avalon, New Jersey
29 ft class c and tow a Ford Escape but most of time tow car is off for easy access
They came in while we where at work, wife made contact with the female that night and asked how things where going and if she wanted to come in the house for supper. Female said she had just eaten supper and passed. That was the only contact.
They left after 3 days while we where at work with not even a thank you or offer to pay for electric for the last three days. If was very hot and humid.
I saw the comment on them last year about doing the same thing to someone else.
really enjoyed there stay.....hope they will return in the future
safe travels thx
Glad we overlooked the one questionable reference because they were friendly and charming guests. No issues or problems, respected our property and space. Friendly to the other BDers that were staying at the same time. The cat was no problem and we have 2 dogs. Learned that they are a young working couple with day time jobs that kept both/all us from visiting and being as social as some "retired" BDers have been with time to not focus on work schedules. We dId get a short time to chat and exchange info and experiences. Hope you travel safe. Stay in touch. See you somewhere on the road. Welcome back anytime.
This couple was absolutely no problem at all. They are welcome back here anytime. We hope to see them on the road one day. Stay safe
We hosted 2tipsytravelers for three nights. On their arrival (while my wife and I were at work) they got their rig stuck in our front yard while turning it around. This was blamed on "our" Budget package delivery man. I don't even know what to say about that attempt to shift blame. Do any of you own, or are responsible for, your delivery truck driver? Then they parked with their tow dolly blocking our garage that I specifically asked them not to block. We provided them three nights of accommodation with 30Amp hookup and didn't even receive a thank you much less an offer to pay for the electricity used. We have hosted 12 Boondocker guests since March and never experienced such callous disregard for guest etiquette.
Very nice folks enjoying this beautiful country one day and location at a time. When you come back to the area I hope you come back and stay again.
