Enjoy seeing America: state, national parks; history. Prefer traveling cross country, off interstates. Generally avoid the big, feature laden campgrounds with lots of amenities and facilities. Enjoy hiking to see natural wonders slow and up close. Travel always guided by seeing family and friends, though we don’t need more than the two of us.

We tend to not stay too long at one spot, but rather travel from point to interesting point. Slowly.

While not in the road, active in church, music (concert band, orchestra, jazz/“big” band).

Skills & Expertise to Share

Grass mowing, tree trimming 😀. Better at automotive than house repairs. Really good at assessing organizations’ quality and environmental management systems, but there’s little need for that with the RV. 🤓

So far, more Cracker Barrel over WalMart. On a summer evening, nice to sit in the rocking chairs on their porch after dinner.

Just needed a place to sleep

Nice couple that stayed with us while visiting with their daughter who lives nearby. We were impressed with his skill at backing all the way in to their ideal spot. We would have liked to visit with them more and look forward to them returning.

We enjoyed learning to know this wonderful couple from Florida. We had a very busy weekend when they were here but enjoyed the little time we got to visit with them. We look forward to hosting them again when they get into our area.
