After Thirty plus years working for the City of New York's Marine section of the Department of Environmental Protection, it's time to retire and get back to the business of traveling. In the past couple of months my wife and I have been to Hawaii and have just purchased a conversion Van. There the adventure has taken us all up and down the East coast of North America.
While in Newfoundland we came across a French Canadian who used Boondockers. Also while in the parking lot, another Boondocker had the sticker on their back window. We thought it was a great idea, now we're giving it a shot.
So come on by Dockers we have your slip!

Really nice people

They really were helpful when I arrived. Helped me get my rig set and gave me good info about the area. Had a nice time at the beach because of that. Great story of how he crossed America too. Nice people all around.

Sunsets on Long Beach

Friendly and helpful hosts. Stayed in their driveway while I explored Long Island. And Fire Island. 2 blocks from the beach. I appreciate their help and adaptability with me.

Wonderful hosts, amazing location!

This is an amazing place with great hosts. Visiting NYC with the Long Island Railroad is very convenient. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts, appreciated all the good tips and are very glad that they hosted us. Our kids loved their dog Bowie.

Atlantic beach boardwalk, enough said!

The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating! A beautiful spot, right near the boardwalk and beach. On top of that, the Long Island Railroad is a mile away which takes you right to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan in about an hour.

Gem by the sea

Jon and Karin are wonderful hosts! They are gracious and welcoming. You are in the city, so it is noisy but that did not bother us and you are 2 blocks from a beautiful beach and Boardwalk! I would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to see Long Beach, Fire Island and go into NYC.
