We're a family of 4 who love to RV travel. We live in an eco house in Cincinnati, Ohio and love sports.
By trade, we are teachers - Math and Design/Architecture, but we also love building things. We built our home and have done many construction and design projects.
We like to travel all over. We've been on long trips through New England (17 days), to Florida (10), East Coast (9) and West (28 days and 25 days). We travel to National Parks and have been to 44 states so far. Some of our faves are Zion, Canyonlands, North Cascades, Olympic, Shenandoah, and the list goes on.
2015 Forest River Solera R. It is a 25ft class C on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. Our favorite decoration is our awning mat that's a map of the US where we write the dates we travel to each state in permanent marker on it.
The Nutters are friendly and helpful hosts. They have the RV travel bug and love to talk about past and future trips. Their space is convenient to get in and out of. We would love to visit again.
We had a great time at their place, and talked a lot about different things, and of course about their eco home. Sorry for the delayed recommendation (as we took a small break, but back on the road now). Thanks again for allowing us to know about you, your travels and your home (which we like a lot). Hope to be in contact in the future when we're ready to build our home. Thank you.
Thanks for hosting us at your very interesting ECO home. Sorry it took us this long to update our email messages, but traveling with our grown up kids is exhausting specially if they feel we can do all the hiking and climbing they do.
They are gone now and we are now taking a rest in atascadero CA with the Van compass people who are installing a lift kit and heavy duty suspension upgrades so we can ride the Mexican dirt roads in comfort.
Best regards and who knows maybe someday on the road.
Thijs and Rieneke
Nice stay over on our drive South for Spring Break and on the way back.
More of a turn around than a drive through, but other than that, it is as they describe.
We stayed there one night and they were very helpful and accommodating. Long paved driveway with a small town comfort feel. It was a pleasure to meet them.
Beautiful place and great hospitality. We had everything we need. I my wife and our son had a great time. We had the great opportunity to see a Reds game.
Sorry for my english
The Nutters live at the end of a 300' driveway. We have a 23' trailer pulled by a Grand Cherokee diesel. We backed down the driveway without too much trouble as it is straight and paved. I must say it was dark and rainy at the time. At the far end is a large paved parking area. It is a very quiet area , lots of green space and parks around , wish we could have seen more of it during the day. Mr. Nutter welcomed us and we felt at home.
We stayed there one nite on our way to Florida.
The hosts were very accommodating and we would highly recommend them to all boon dockers.
A friendly family who took time from their busy schedule to talk to us and tell us about their eco home.
