We retired in Okanogan,WA and my wife (from Japan) got too cold. We intended to "snowbird" in AZ but got carried away, bought a Class A, and "hit the road". We return to WA during the late spring and summer months.
DIY experience in rv solar system installation, basic computer hardware and some software skills. The wife is smarter than myself so she's good at many things.
We mostly boondock in national forests, seashores, mountains or any place that is reasonably safe and quiet. We've recently stayed over at two different casinos, a Walmart, and in a great wildlife management area.
We have a 2001, 33 ft. Holiday Rambler motorhome with slideouts, a newly installed 700 watt solar system, and we tow a Suzuki(mini-4X4)"4 down". Our rig is shiny, clean, and plain looking with no daisies, crosses, peace signs or cartoons painted on the side.
This couple were our first boondockers in July 2012. We enjoyed talking with them and listening to their stories of travel. They were polite campers and left the site just as they found it. We would welcome them back anytime. Easy Money
