Nice family that stayed in there trailer for a good rest when they were not exploring the Twin Cities. They left a thank you note when they left because we were not there.Nice enough family.
We had an awesome visit with the Waltz family. They were interesting and gave us LOTS of pointers on navigating the RV road while they grilled up some of our grass fed, organic, pasture raised burgers Saturday afternroon. TY so much.
Their son left us a hand drawn map of our sheepdog farm that we now have posted on our frig! They had to put up with a lot of construction noise Friday and Saturday morning, as we were putting in the turn around and parking pads for all boonedockers that follow .
We all wanted to hit the river in the kayaks but time got away, next time! Wish they could have stayed a few days or weeks longer!
They will be welcomed back with open arms if they ever come back this way and we will look for them as a host in a few years when they settle back down.

Nice couple and had a few chances to chat with them. They made us supper on the last night. Very friendly cat and kid..... Hope they decide to come back for a longer stay to swap stories. And thanks to wife, my wife is finally open to talking about us going full time, I think I have her talked into 4 years.....
Very easy to get along with. Felt like old friends arriving for a visit from the start. Had a good time taking the bearded Waltz out for an afternoon of fishing. His wife had a tasty dinner waiting to share when we arrived home. They were good company all around and welcome to stay again. Enjoy the rest of your travels. I hope you find a place to eventually call home somewhere on your journey.
I only got to visit with the husband, but what a cool story this family has. Having spent most of his adult life serving in the military and stationed in Germany, Waltzfamily is "rediscovering" the US. Very friendly with lots of tips on how to transition from work to full time lifestyle. Always welcome at Big Daddy's.
It was a pleasure to host this family. I am sure you will enjoy hosting them too. I hope they enjoyed their stay here and have safe travels.
We certainly enjoyed the Waltz family being our guest for a few days. They are well traveled and interesting to talk with. We would welcome them back any time.
