I am a single woman traveling with my german shepherd. I have been a waitress/bartender for 40 years. I have a 28 yr old daughter who just got married. Want to travel different routes twice a year. Plan on staying in upstate New York for summer job (June to September) and hopefully Arizona for winter job (mid October to February) All my plans are tentative.
I am an amazing waitress and bartender.
I am also an amazing cook.
I have a 2 1/2 year old female German shepherd named Gypsy , and a very old cat named Cheeka.
Brand new. First time out. Have done walmart parking lots.
My hometown will be Westport,ny for summers. My daughter lives in cabot,vt so i can visit.

we really enjoyed the company of this lovely lady and her dog. The time went by too fast so we are looking forward to her next visit.

Kathy and Gypsy were such a joy to have stay with me. Kathy is such a wonderful person with so many great stories. As a single female traveler, she has a lot of helpful information and experiences that can help many others single female travelers like myself. And her puppy dog Gypsy is one of the most well-behaved dogs Ive ever seen, attached at the hip to her mommy , she was never a problem😁🐶
If you are ever fortunate enough to have them ask to stay at your location, I would highly recommend them! Kathy and Gypsy are a perfect example of what the family of Boondockers Welcome, and making new friends and sharing great times, is all about!
Be safe my new friend , have fun ,and I hope to see you again 😁
Gypsygirl and Gypsy we’re both a delight. Hope they choose to stay with us again in their future travels.
Kathy and her German Shepard were excellent guests. Arrived on time, quick set up, quiet, no hassle.
Had several occasions to chat with her even through this Wuhan Virus social distancing non-sense and she is a fun traveler with a lot of stories to tell. Her Shepard is well behaved with no hassles. She is welcome back anytime.
What a delight it was to finally get an opportunity to meet Gypsygirl. Our paths almost crossed several times the summer of 2019 as we stayed with Boondockers Welcome Host after Host only to find that Gypsygirl was there just the week or so before us. So it was inevitable that we would meet one day. We didn’t expect that meeting would be at our place.
Despite COVID-19 and the necessity for ‘social distancing’ we did get a chance to chat for awhile. Gypsygirl is a kind, thoughtful and most considerate guest. It was a lot of fun finally getting a chance to know her.
Gypsygirl and her friendly well behaved German Shepherd are welcome back here anytime. By all means if you get a chance, be sure to accept her invitation should you be lucky enough to get a stay request from her.
enjoyed hosting Gypsygirl, had good conversation about her trips, welcome back anytime
Seemed like a wonderful person in her communications. Sorry that I didn't get to meet her!
After letting Gypsygirl into our gate and directing her where to park, she disappeared into her trailer to rest and relax. When I got up the following morning she was already gone. Quiet and polite.
All too short of a visit ... Hope this gypsy will visit again, a great connection.
didn't get to spend much time with gypsygirl ,very quiet and respectiful person welcome back anytime
Gypsygirl stayed at the farm for 2 days. We found her a spot and did all the hookups and she was settled in. Enjoyed the time I got to have a conversation with her and she reminded me of what I might be like in a few years when I finally get to go! Thanks for staying and I wish for your safe travels and an awesome job where you are going. She left no trace and I appreciated that very much!
It was our pleasure to host GypsyGirl for a stopover on her way to Florida. She arrived on time and set up quickly. Wish I had more time to visit with her but we both had things we needed to get done. Hope to see her again!
Communicated well on ETA and was prompt. Nice, nice dog and well behaved. Would welcome back anytime.
We enjoyed her company and she was a wonderful guest! She's welcome anytime to stay with us. Hope next time we aren't so busy so we can visit longer:)
Gypsygirl was a perfect guest. She just wanted to hole up in her trailer relaxing and reading. She was friendly when we did see her. Her dog was very well behaved and friendly. Stop again if you are ever in the area!
Gypsygirl was a great guest and we were glad to have her over. While at the farm she was connected to the 15 amp plug, running her AC , it started to overheat the plug so we hooked her into the larger service 50 amp and she was able to reset her breaker and go from there. Probably wouldn't have even known she was there had she not had that problem.
Glad to have her back whenever she can.
Gypsygirl has it together! Knows how to park, has her guard dog to protect her, and is a quiet guest. We wish her well on her journeys.
We enjoyed having Gypsygirl and her furry family. Gypsy was a very good watch dog for a travelling person and a playful girl when not being protective. After ger arrival and set up, we hardly knew that she was here. She managed to get a few walks in the area - hopefully not too close to the alpacas as they like to spit. I really hated that I was not here to say good bye when she left but she will always be welcome, and her furry ones also.
Gypsygirl is always welcomed here...very polite and fun to share the lake with. Her pets blended with mine perfectly.
Where to start . . . . .
Such an awesome guest, fun, positive and full of life.
Definitely has the living life to the fullest down to a tee.
We wish her well on her travels. She will do well at whatever she tackles.
And she and her Gypsy dog are always welcome here at High Country Alpaca Ranch.

This resourceful, independent, friendly lady and her furry family are a joy to host. She has an adventuresome spirit but has her head on straight regarding how to safely travel alone. Gyspsy, her dog is very special, friendly after getting acquainted, and very dedicated to her. It’s a great relationship to see. Cheeka the cat is a typical quiet, ‘in-charge’ cat! Hope she stops by on her return to the southwest in the fall. Always welcome. Happy Trails.
Great communication before the stay. Very pleasant, wish I had a chance to visit more with her. Well mannered, friendly dog. They were great to have. Welcome back anytime.
What a pleasure to meet this lady and her doggie! She was a very quite guest and told us upon her departure she got a lot accomplished during her stay here at BaseCamp! Definitely would recommend to other host to accept her as a guest! She was very considerate, timely and sweet!
Gypsygirl and her pet family are always welcome. Happy she decided to stay an extra day because of the rain.
She only stayed one night, but we wished she could have stayed more. After taking the tour of our yard, she settled in and we didn't hear a peep from her or her pets. Unfortunately the rain really dampened her stay. We look forward to seeing her on her next cross-country journey.
Gypsygirl was very interesting and we enjoyed her dog too. We are hoping she will come back again.
We had the pleasure of hosting Gypsygirl for two nights. Truly a delightful lady with an adventurous spirit. We enjoyed hearing about your travels and wish you and your companions a safe, wonderful, and memorable journey. She is welcome to stay with us anytime... The Campbells
