What a great stay right in the middle of San Diego! Our host was so welcoming and had great recommendations about things to see and do here! We so appreciated the hospitality!!
Our stay at Valle del Sol was perfect. Warm welcoming by Chad who is very friendly, helpful and charming. At only 10-15 min from all San Diego attractions we really appreciated this stay and mostly to meet Chad ❤️ who is welcome home when he wants!
The host was very helpful to find this place even with a big RV. He gave us lots of fruits for our travel and same great advices about visiting San Diego.
Good stopping point. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to meet our host.
We had a great stay at this property. Chad welcomed us to show us what we needed to know and had a great weekend cruising San Diego ! Thanks Chad.
C. M. is very warm, friendly, outgoing and so hospitable. He made our experience so pleasant and memorable. His driveway was perfect for our 16 ft trailer, and his property is in a safe location in a quiet neighborhood only 20 min from the bay. Thank you so much C. You are a very special human being. Come visit us in Colo! And thank you for your education on passion and dragonfruit!!
Chad was a helpful host.
The location was very convenient to access our family reunion in Chula Vista and visit other locations in SanDiego.
We stayed two nights. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Great place for a few nights. Oh and we got fresh lemons for lemonade!
Amazing spot in a city of no RV parking. Host was so helpful and generous! Thank you!
Valle del Sol, thank you so much for making us feel at home, and being so concerned for everything for us to be comfortable. we had a great time there.
Nice folks here, Chad really went out of his way to make us feel at home. Tight spot for 36foot toyhauler but we made it work fine.
Chad has an awesome spot just east of San Diego. Great driveway with a bunch of leveling blocks. Great spot and a super hospitable host.
A great place for a quick stopover in San Diego! Was perfect for my short 26’. If I’d stayed longer I would have used levelers.
Chad is an incredible host. He’s very accommodating and really is determined to help people have a great time on their stay. The $ he charges is worth it for the proximity to so many great places in a place where real estate is a premium. Especially after experiencing the effort he goes through to make it a great stay, not to mention hookups! We don’t typically pay to stay, but we will 100% stay again and pay to do so! thanks Chad!
We had a wonderful stay. Very nice and quite place. Host was very, very helpful. We had some very nice chats.
We would stay here any time again.
A nice quiet need close to all of the prime sights. Chad was very friendly and very accommodating!
Our host was great and made us feel at home. We were welcomed with fresh passion fruit that he grew from his farm!
The location was great and close to everything.
We were able to park our 33’ fifth wheel but it was tricky. We stayed in his driveway which is semi narrow and has a tree and some wires hanging overhead to worry about. We got it done but our chocks wouldn’t hold the trailer because of loose gravel. We had to get creative.
Chad was a great host plus we got to meet another traveler from Canada!
We spent 5 nights at the Green Cowboy and were treated royally. Chad has a very intimate knowledge of San Diego which was very helpful. He is very passionate about his gardens and it was a pleasure to be part of that for a while.
Chad is really nice and gave us some tips where to go and we got to see his garden which was awesome!
Out of the CO winter into the San Diego sun over the end of Dec 2018 for 5 days was definitely what we needed. The Green Cowboy communications were timely & our spot was reserved easily. Full hookup were offered upon arrival, but as our rig is winterized, we only used electric. Next time we would like to get a tour of his urban garden.
This an awesome boondockers host with a great location. Very friendly and helpful for navigating the city and surrounding areas.
Located very close to San Diego attractions, quiet neighborhood, full hookups (!!!), super friendly host - overall a perfect stay. We even met a boondocking couple that comes from Quebec, so we were super happy!
Our host was very helpful and responsive during our two day stay. I was able to take a short 15 min walk to catch the train into downtown in the morning as well. We were too busy to see the farm, but the host is clearly passionate about what he is doing and has loads of knowledge.
The road in is a bit rough and it was tricky to park at night. I’d recommend a daytime arrival if possible.
Good place to stay for visiting San Diego, short (1 mile) walk to trolley stop which is a great way to get around the city.
Nice guy, passionate about his urban farm. Great place to overnight, right near centre of the city.
How beautiful to start our 'Boondockers' trip with Chad; a farmer who is really passionated about his job and really put his heart in his work. We have taste all kind of fruits an vegetables we didn't knew.
His house is really close by the big Zoo and city; a very good choice to stay!!!
