We are a millennial, lesbian couple on the move to Denver from Las Vegas. We both landed new jobs are on our way to starting new careers in this wonderful city. We are so excited about this transition. We have a 1982 remodeled Minnie Winnie that is fully solar operated. We're going to live and love in our tiny home RV for a while until we learn a little more about the city and find a place to plant some roots.
RV: We did all of our remodeling ourselves. Very familiar with solar power and how to set up a rig for solar. Also familiar with electricity, and A/C mini-split installs and operations.
Bean: Photography, videography, and photo editing. Also has knowledge of computer and wifi systems.
Aimee: is an RN, can sew and has many artistic talents.
We have two 1.5-year-old kittens. Yara Ofieala Greyjoy and Carbon Hades. They are little adventurers and love people.
We are newbies so we're going to have to learn where our favorites are.
San Diego, California but moving to Denver, Co.
She's a cute and brilliantly functioning 1984, 21ft, Minnie Winnie. We have a car (2014 Nissan Sentra) that we sometimes tow with us but can generally make other parking arrangements for it if necessary. Our rig is updated and well maintained. It has a full bath and shower so, despite being Minnie she's we're entirely self-sustained. We're in the process of switching to solar, so we consume less energy. Thanks for considering us and we look forward to meeting you!!
Very nice people. They welcomed us and even let us join in on their bonfire. Perfect location close to downtown, yet still close enough to the hills for adventuring.
We were met when we got in, we’re welcomed, and shown where to connect. Our stay was perfect for being in town for a conference!
They were the sweetest folks and so generous! Sorry we didn't get to hang with them more, but we'll definitely keep this spot in mind if we swing back through Denver.
The location was close and easy to get all around town and quiet during the night. Happy to have met and hung out with these lovely hosts. We had a great time visiting in the side yard area and hearing all about their projects and stories! Thank you!
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and we were blown away. We imagine it will be hard to find people as cool and hospitable. Great conversation, convenient location. Hard to leave.
Truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of! Great people (and pets!) all around :)
Warm, generous, friendly hosts. Accommodating and helpful with recommendations about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
This is a great location in the city of Denver. Convenient to most of the attractions and downtown. It was only about 15 minutes to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Quiet neighborhood. Had a great conversation with our very considerate host.
A driveway to stay in that is right in Denver. The people here are great and we got along famously. Be careful about parking anywhere in Denver because the parking police hand out copious amounts of tickets. The Paco Sanchez playground is 5-10 minutes away and was voted by our kids as the best playground in the continental United States. We would stay here again to explore Denver more sometime in the future.
My hosts were very welcoming, flexible, and responsive. Overall, the experience was great and smooth. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay here and couldn't have asked for a better location to visit our friends that live in Denver! The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors we encountered were super friendly. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Also, they provided suggestions for things to do around the area which we always appreciate. Would definitely stay here again!
