I don’t seem to have a people picture but for now here is one of this summer’s baby squash.
We both work full time (plus) but work via internet lets us escape sometimes. I like to garden and in summer may be accompanied by vegetables if I harvested everything before hooking up the trailer.
Other favorite pastimes (sadly neglected due to aforementioned long work hours) include bicycling, woodworking, knitting, sewing, spinning, and occasional diversion into many other hobbies. Used to do and would like to resume - home brewing (beer, mead, port), archery, medieval illumination (drawing and painting).
Knowing about cooking, brewing, growing plants seems to come in useful -as occasionally does knitting which is generally nearby
Maybe, sometimes - we travel with 0-4 of our cats who stay indoors and, instead of occupying the typical amount of non-traveling-home cat space, have an astonishing ability to disappear behind pillows and blankets and snooze away without particularly being noticeable unless we hunt for them. They stay in, unless permitted sometimes one takes one of us for a wander on a leash. Have all shots/vet clearance.
At my mom’s farm, or anywhere with more nature and less pavement. We do have a strong preference for locations in which the alligators and bears stay outside. Recently we find it necessary to think more about weather in planning to make an effort to aim for places where the fire and water are in approximately usual proportions (proximity to recurring flooding and fires leaves us wishing we could even out the weather a bit).
Jeep Grand Cherokee pulling a 21ft (25 including tongue) Jayco Jayflight travel trailer, no slides. We have lithium batter “generator” charged by solar so can be a self-contained as needed with some planning. Besides...we were tent campers for many years so even dry camping/ boondocking is pretty luxurious to us & we can manage.
