Lovely Family Travelers! Un vrai plaisir!

Every now and again, there are guests who tug at your heart strings when it's time for them to leave. This delightful family's departure was one of those times. I had the honor of hosting WinnyTheRoo for their first night in the USA.

From the start they were respectful, polite, and charming. Full of enthusiasm for the journey they set out on, and eager to lend a hand or spend a bit of time visiting. They loved the quiet and simplicity of their camping experience, and I wish them well on this amazing journey they are on.

Bon voyage mes amis canadiens!!

"There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more" - Lord Byron

Convenient for seeing Montreal

We had the honor of being the first Boondockers Welcome guests for this nice young family. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and had a nice chat with them as we were getting settled in. We were able to park our 25 foot class C RV in the driveway pretty easily and even pull partway under the carport roof which was more level than the driveway. They gave us tips on getting around in the city and things to see. The next day we caught a bus about two blocks from their house to the bus terminal and metro subway and spent the day sightseeing all around Montreal. We got to see a lot that way and didn't have to worry about parking. We enjoyed our visit and would love to stay here again when we return to the area.
