We love caring for our land and producing wholesome food for ourselves and others
We have a couple labs that keep us entertained with their antics.

Great guests, Welcome to come back anytime. It was nice meeting and talking with you. Safe travels.
We really enjoyed their company and chatting. And swapping stories. Highly recommend them to stay at your place. Looking forward to a vist here or at there spot
Was a pleasure hosting wonderasiwander, friendly and respectful couple enjoyed the conversation around the campfire welcome back anytime
We were thrilled to host Wonderasiwander and find we have much in common. The weather was cold but they didn't complain. I know they will be a blessing wherever they go. We hope they will consider heading back our way on their way home.
Enjoyed our conversations with this happy couple. We had a lot in common.
What a great experience for our first guests! A considerate friendly couple, we enjoyed talking to them about farm life.
We were warmly greeted by our hosts and their friendly dog. We easily parked our 37 foot Class A motorhome and motorcycle trailer. The view was great and the neighborhood was very country like. We had some very nice conversations with the hosts while around their fire pit. They gave us alot of nice suggestions of where to visit in the area. In the evenings we star gazed in the clear sky. Before we left we purchased some of their organic beef and we xant wait to having some nice meals. We look forward to our next visit at this Boondockers location.
These 2 wonderful people made us feel more like family than guests. We sat around the fire pit and had wonderful conversations both nights. We purchased a couple of steaks from their meat store and can't wait to throw them on the grill. I hope someday to have a place so I can hoast and hope I can make them feel as welcomed as we did.
A++ experience. Thank you is not enough.
We spent two peaceful nights next to the pond on a large grassy site. The hosts were very nice and the location was great for exploring Ithaca. We were able to buy some beef and eggs from their farm store and thoroughly enjoyed the beef in some stew we made while on-site. The phone wires look close when you pull in but we cleared them at 13' 2". The ground was hard and no sinking in with our 25k Lb rig. Thanks!
We stayed at Scheffler’s farm for two nights. The host are very friendly and go above and beyond what a host is supposed to do. The site is huge and level. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We hope our paths cross again someday. Maybe they’ll boondock at our location!
Hosts were friendly and welcoming. We had great conversation with them around a campfire. We purchased some beef from their farm store which we are looking forward to preparing and enjoying during our travels. Would love to stop by next time we are in the area.
I stayed at a lovely spot near the pond along a back Country Road. Beautiful Farm & Home with Organic Meats for sale. The hosts helps me fill my water jugs offered some wonderful homemade peach pie, and some fresh veggies! Wow! Very very nice people and hosts location some road noise with little shade so plan accordingly for a cool day. Also lots of flat roads for bicycling nearby.
Words cannot describe how great of a stay we had. Our hosts were very welcoming. We enjoyed a tour of the farm and our children had a great time. Highly recommended.
We stayed one night at the Sceffler's farm.
Recieved a quick reply.
We had the chance to chat with them a bit on arrival. Nice couple.
The dairy was closed down but nevertheless if you want to stay a night in a farm, out of Ithaca - recommended.
We absolutely loved staying at the Scheffler's Organic Dairy Farm. They are BEYOND accommodating and so sweet. They gave us a tour of their farm, let our kiddos play, and we got to buy some organic meat, cheese, and eggs! By the way, we only cooked one thing and with how amazing it was we had to go back and get more the morning we left! This was our first experience with BW and we were nervous. They welcomed us and we felt like family during our stay. If you have the chance to stay here, DO SO. Thank you both for the amazing stay!
We arrived later than we had originally planned, but they graciously where awaiting our arrival. We had a brief chance to talk across the kitchen table, very warm and friendly people who enjoy there life “on the farm”. Had a good nights rest and awoke To the mooing of the cows. Purchased some eggs and cheese (yum, yum!) from their bio farm store, had breakfast and headed out for day-2 of our backroads America tour. We loved the stop and the great folks, we’ll be back and hope to spend more time “on the farm” for our next visit. Thanks Eileen & Ed!
Thanks for spending the evening straightening out our cell phone. 3heads are better than 1.
We stayed with the Scheffler's and the cows for 3 nights. It was an incredible educational experience learning about farm life. Our campsite was beautiful. We were parked on a small pond with views of the farm. We woke up to the sunrise on one end of the camper and watched the sunset on the other side. The Scheffler's are the salt of the earth and we will miss hanging out with them and the cows. The farm store is amazing as well. It was hard to leave.
I had the pleasure of staying at Ed and Eileen's organic dairy farm. They are meticulous in making sure they have the best organic dairy products. I was able to get their products at their store. They were accommodating in giving me a look at their operation and answering my questions. We had a nice visit at their campfire and meeting some of their family. Thanks RV space is large in a grassy area at the farm. I am truly grateful for the hospitality of these wonderful people.
We stayed with Ed and Eileen for 3 days on their beautiful property. They showed us how their organic farm of 40 dairy cows and acres of farmland works. Such an education for all of us. We enjoyed talks by the fire and gorgeous sunsets overlooking their land. These 2 are a real gem and we had so much fun getting to know them. The area around them is absolutely beautiful with hidden waterfalls and the finger lakes of NY. They have a small store where you can purchase farm fresh eggs, milk, cheese, and beef that they lovingly produce. We left there with a basket full of fresh veggies from their personal garden and our hearts full from another great stay with amazing people found on Boondockers Welcome. Hope to see you soon out on the trail Ed and Eileen.
