Doris and I have been married for 15 years. We enjoy working on our home and relaxing in our courtyard. We attend Church every Sunday. Love to meet new people.
I’ve been a Teamster Truck Driver for 20+years and can suggest the best routes in and around NM.
Our pets do not travel with us.
We are not retired yet. My 86 year old father always wanted a Airstream trailer so he checked it off his bucket list. Currently my sister and her husband use the trailer most of the time. Doris and I use it 3-4 weeks a year with plans to use more after retirement. Still new to the boondocking thing.

Such a nice couple. Glad they arrived early in the afternoon so we could talk and talk and find common interests. They taught us a new card game, "Phase 10". Really enjoyed that. We taught them a new dice game, "Farkel". Everyone had a great time. They left us the Phase 10 game so we could practice.
Looking forward to seeing them again the next time we get in their area, which we plan on next summer. Should be all practiced up on "Phase 10" by then.
They are welcome to come stay with us again anytime. We meet the nicest people through Boondockers Welcome.
Scott and Doors finally brought another Airstream to visit! We really enjoyed their company and getting to tour their newer Airstream. We all went to dinner the last night of their stay and had a wonderful time. We are truly grateful to have made them our friends!
I had a great stay with Scott & Doris. It had snowed that day, so Scott let me park in their driveway & plug into his garage instead of their normal spot of the side. They invited me to come in after I got settled. Doris poured us all a glass of wine & bowl of nuts while we sat & visited. The next morning when I was ready to leave, Scott came out to insure I got out safely, which I did. It was really nice to meet & get to know these wonderful people. I would definitely stay again.
This lovely couple are down to earth, friendly, overall good people. We feel blessed that we have made their acquaintance. Mrs. C met us on the evening we pulled in. We are from East Texas, so the NM cold made it hard to move or think. She was all smiles and pointed out where electric/water hookups were and ensured we parked into the right spot. She is a very artistic and verbose individual that will put a smile on anyone's face and made the kids feel at home. She is a plethora of information about children's activities in the area, i.e., the ¡EXPLORA! Children's Science Center (http://www.explora.us) and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (http://nmnaturalhistory.org).
Mr. C is nice gentleman with varying interests and is very personable. He is familiar with ABQ area and was pointed out the best routes and times to go into and out of the city.
We found that meeting them was the highlight of our stop in ABQ.
We loved their hospitality and enjoyed the night they took us out to dinner at the Pizza Barn! It was awesome 😎! We were sad that they didn’t feel good when we left.
We, the Castillo Family, truly thank you for your hospitality. We hope and pray that you will get a chance to hit the road full-time in the near future.
The view from the house was amazing 😉
We were just passing through town, and they were able to host us on very short notice. Scott came out to make sure we backed in ok, had no problems and we were allowed to plug into electric. He even indulged us in peeking at his airstream. Very nice couple, their place was easy to get in, easy to get out. 😊
Scott and Doris both came out to welcome me when I arrived, and Scott helped me back in to the generously sized spot next to their garage. Kind and friendly, they invited me in to chat awhile, then took me out for a scrumptious Mexican dinner! Gave me a bottle of their own home-bottled wine and even invited me in to shower in the morning. It just doesn’t get much better than that. Thanks so much!
Scott and Doris are a warm and welcoming couple with a beautiful and comfortable home. We enjoyed their company along with a great pizza dinner! Apologies for the late reference, but we have been road warriors with sporadic internet as we covered the rest of New Mexico and the southern half of Utah, Now headed to warmer climes in southern Arizona. Hope to meet other Hosts as warm and welcoming as Scott and Doris!
Very nice couple. Great location, easy off highway.
She is a good cook too.
Nice spot next to house.
Amazing host for our overnight stop in Alburquerque. Very friendly and helpful, just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much Doris and Scott
This was just a brief overnight stop with a quick morning departure. Our hosts were gracious and pleasant, and it was relaxing and good to visit with them. The host location was not far from the interstate but the highway sound was easy to ignore even with our camper windows open. Directions were good and the parking place was level and easily accessed.
