We were glad they chose to stay with us and would welcome them anytime.
Steddyooper stayed with us for one night. Warm, welcoming, friendly, fun folks. Conversation was easy and they shared some yummy cheese they had smoked! They were respectful of our property and are welcome back at Clay Haven any time!!
We had a very enjoyable stay; our hosts were very friendly; we spent a good bit of time on the evening we stayed talking and getting to know each other. One caution- if you need the 30 amp make sure you have a long cord of your connection is toward the front of your rig. Ours wasn't long enough but no big deal. He ran us an extension cord from a 20 A circuit and it gave its all we needed.
Would definitely stay again if we pass through this way.
Our stay at Steddy Eddy's was simply incredible. Such gracious hosts. They were so kind, accommodating, and just a joy to be around! We had a blast talking and getting to know each other!
Can't wait until we can come back and visit again!
I enjoyed a lovely evening & morning at Steddy Eddy’s! They were incredibly welcoming and generous and we had some lovely long conversations!
I’d recommend using their home street address for your directions, unless the Google Maps pin gets moved as it might direct you down the wrong street that runs parallel to theirs.
Very friendly, accommodated our late arrival. Level pad with electric close by, quiet and serene yard. This was our maiden BW visit, and Eddy and his wife set a high standard for hospitality! We will DEFINITELY stay with them again when we’re in the area!
When Boondockers Welcome was created, their vision of what a host would be couldn’t be better represented than with Mr and Mrs Steddy Eddy. All amenities, beautiful grounds, with nature trails, song birds, rabbits. And the enjoyable conversation was so fun on their deck while watching the birds come in to feed. Lovely experience and such a short drive to Frankenmuth.
Nice location albeit a bit hard to find the driveway. Steady Eddie gave me good instructions I just didn't follow them closely. Found Eddie very friendly and accomdating.
Enjoyed visiting, talking tractors, trucks.
Looking at your grandkids painting, lots of talent.
Great stop for our first Boondockers.
First, apologies because of my date mixup and thank you for your gracious understanding. We had a delightful time. This is a lovely spot on 27 beautiful acres. Our host greeted us and showed us to a lovely level space. There were lots of deer and rabbits. We visited with them in the eveningby the fire enjoying snacks and laughs. This morning they gave us a lovely bottle of syrup made from their own trees. Definitely recommend!
Eddie and his lovely wife treated us like family. Our stay was short but enjoyable with pleasant conversation getting acquainted. Site was level and the grounds immaculate.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome Host.. and boy did we get spoiled!! From the moment we arrived we were treated like old family members coming for a visit. Eddy is a sweet man and helped us get our trailer parked and set up. He even installed the new power jack after giving us a local recommendation on where to find one! Amazing !!! Claire, his wife is bubbly and oh so cute! She baked a homemade blueberry pie and treated us to a slice last night before bed. We enjoyed happy hour with them on the back porch and had great conversations about careers, family and vacation places. The property is beautifully landscaped with flowers and birdhouses decorated throughout. Eddy built his home and it is gorgeous!! I can’t say enough good things about our new friends and I hope they accept our invitation to visit us at our home in Costa Rica.
I can’t say enough great things about this Charming couple. Eddie and Claire Made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We got to know each other better on the first night when they invited us into their back patio for snacks and wine. We shared our stories and for sure formed a great friendship. Eddie went out of his way to help my partner install a power jack on our trailer to make our life easier... he is so amazing and didn’t have to do that. Claire is a wonderful baker and spoiled us on our second night with homemade blueberry pie!! Their property is amazing, well kept, beautifully landscaped and the birds come daily to feed off the flowers and feeders about the yard. I can keep going on and on about these two!! We hope to see them at our home in Costa Rica next year:). Loved everything about this visit.
Such a friendly and welcoming couple. Beautiful property for our kids to run and play. A little tricky turning around in the grass since we are so long (40’ 5er) but Ed was very helpful. We took our time leaving the next day and had a nice visit with them as well.
Meeting Our Hosts was such a positive experience! They treated our group like Family. Good wine, good conversation, and great hospitality! Definitely a wonderful experience.
The host had to canceled, but called a local Walmart and found out that we could stay there. I appreciate him helping us.
This was our "shakedown" trip after buying our first motorhome, so we decided to stay close to home.
We picked SteddyEddy's based on this and we could not have done better if we tried.
Great people all around. They invited us up on their deck once we were settled, which meant snacks, drinks and great conversation for a few hours.
After a good night's sleep, we received a text to come up to the house for coffee. .
So glad to have met such great new friends and acwholehearted thank you for their extreme hospitality.
Can't wait to get together again.
We have made new life long friends after staying just one night at their place. We shared stories, snacks and WINE and talked for hours. Interesting conversations just kept flowing.
If your visiting the area don’t hesitate to see if they can accomodate you.
A very long rig may have trouble getting turned around so keep that in mind. The host will advise you on what‘s too long. We have a 25 ft TT and F-150 and that’s probably about the limit; maybe 30 ft trailer max.
They might be going for boondocker of this the year host position! Great level site on asphalt driveway off he highway, 30 amps, water, wildlife AND nice folks. Couldn’t ask for better!
We could not have asked for nicer hosts! It was very quiet and accommodations were just as described. If the opportunity comes up next year,
we hope to visit again.
Beautiful location super easy to find. Our hosts were super welcoming. We enjoyed a nice visit with them after getting settled in. They have a beautiful spot, that was easy to get set up on. Power and fresh well water to fill our tanks! Great stay, highly recommend!
Great accommodations, great people, and great conversation! Their granddaughter even baked us an apple pie! Hope to see you again.
We had a great time with our host from parking to set up.
Spent the evening sitting around the camp fire swapping RV experiences.
Would have liked to have been able to spend more time in the area.
We will definitely request again when in the area.
Had a great time at this location. It was easy to find and provided 15/30 amp electric and water.
Hosts made us feel very welcome and gave us great tips for seeing the area and traveling around the country.
We look forward to meeting our hosts again down the road.
We will request to stay again when in the area and highly recommend to others.
Ed and Claire were such gracious hosts! And their grandaughter was visiting, so I also met her.
I arrived in the late afternoon and planned an early AM departure, but we squeezed in a nice couple hours of interesting conversation on their lovely deck among the trumpet vines.
They have a beautiful property with easy access and lots of room. Check them out if you are in the area.
We had a quick over night stay. Host was very gracious and we enjoyed sharing stories with them. We visited Frankenmuth - great town with the Bavarian Festival was going on. Thanks so much for your hospitality.
