Do you know or have you hosted this user?

HI everyone. I've always been a traveler and interested in one day joining the nomadic lifestyle. But for now I'm happy to share my property with everyone. I have 10 secluded acres directly across from the Gunpowder river and Loch Raven reservoir. I have an outdoor hot tub, sauna and hammocks that run in the winter and I have kayaks you can use in the summer.

Update: As you can tell from the reviews I have a really steep driveway and it can be tight turning around at the top. I have learned the hard what can make it up and what can't (Sorry to those who found out the hard way with me!)
So far:
TOO BIG: 40ft 5th wheel.
40ft class A

Ok: 30ft class A with a tow behind
24ft TT

Beautiful

Jason was great. So fun visiting with him and learning some history about his very cool home. Jason has beautiful piece of property. It was quiet and relaxing. We can see why he is a Super Host.

Perfect

Drive way is definitely a little scary but we were ok with our 32 ft and tow car. Perfect first stay!

Simple and perfect

The neighbour is charming. Hiking and MTB trails at Loch Raven are a no brainer.
Jason was very helpful showing us how to get there.
Thanks again!

Nice & quiet stay

Very nice location, mostly fair meadow, partly with shade. Jason was very friendly and helpful. Very well-behaved ladydog.
Thank you, Jason!

Quick overnight stay at Loch Raven Overlook

We just needed a place to park my truck and sleep in for the night, and this was perfect. Plenty of room on this nice piece of property. Definitely check Loch Raven Overlook out!

Great stay!

Thought I left a reference but am being prompted to leave one so here goes.

Great location for us. Arrived in the evening and plugged into the electric supply. Snowed during the night. Our host shoveled the driveway in the morning and jump started our car as we left the ignition in by mistake. It was foggy in the morning so the view was just close by.

Great stay! Wonderful host!

Large Rigs take caution

Beautiful property, Jason was easy to work with. Really would have loved to have enjoyed the property more.

We have a 42' 5th wheel. If it were my property, I'd probably list it at 36' max because of the steepness of the driveway and the limited options to turn around. It took creative thinking trying to turn around to get off the property.

If you choose to go up the steep driveway with a big rig, here's our recommendation. Pull straight through past the garage. Then back in towards the garage to turn around.

Nice stop

Jason was very nice and friendly. Gave me suggestions. Beautiful property with the rock wall. I have a 25ft and tow and I also did drag leaving the driveway. It can be difficult to see getting out. Better for a van I am sure, but good stop.

Fun, quite, interesting place

J has a very cool property! Once you get up the hill you get to enjoy solitude and a great view! It's very convenient located. And the history of the place is probably very cool to hear. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay so we didn't get to meet J but he was very responsive via the messaging thru the website.

Amazing stay!

Jason has been absolutely amazing and so friendly! His dog, Bella, is adorable and super sweet. My family and I were 2 days late showing up, Jason stayed in contact with us throughout each day. We are new to full timing and our first days with Jason were so peaceful and calm. His home and property are absolutely gorgeous, we see a stunning rock wall when we look out of one side of our travel trailer and a beautiful treeline with a river nestled in the landscape from the other side of our trailer. This is our idea of heaven and we just hope we can find something as beautiful for our full time stay. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jason!

(Oh, for other travelers, it's secluded and peaceful, but somehow, all comforts, ammenities, restaurants, stores and shopping is only 5 mins away.)

Awesome host!

Jason's a great guy that's got a really cool spot with lots of good spots to park your RV. We were lucky enough to share some of his freshly harvested deer with him over some drinks which made for a great night. We look forward to stopping back soon at our new friend's place. Thanks Jason!!

Gracious host, Quiet grassy yard

He was very generous and hospitable to us. We very much enjoyed our time getting to know him; sharing life experiences, stories and valuable information. His place is quiet and very private. All you'll see from your van/RV is his house, yard and trees. Thank you very much again for opening your house to us and for your friendship. We look forward to seeing you again!

VERY NICE & CONVENIENT TO BALTIMORE!

Jason is a great person & a very impressive young man that seems to have his life all in order. He is very friendly & goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. I think he even mowed all of the grass the day that I arrived.
His location is very unique & could be good for any type of RV or perhaps a small group.
My only concern was & is his driveway. It is a steep climb that my WAG would be ~10°.
And it has a short approach only from SOUTH. I drive a 25' class A w a V10 engine &towing a Jeep toad. Going down you must use your brakes all of the way because it becomes flat very near the road which is on a very sharp intersection angle.
I had no problem going up, but going down, my MH drag wheels under my MH rear or my hitch that was connected to my towbar scraped for ~1-2 ft. Chuck
