Walmarts only because they are quick & easy & of course free. We have never used Boondockers yet as guest but that is about to change as of 2018 when we plan on hitting the road.

The current set up is a little tight to get into but, Woodpecker says he is making some upgrades soon and I'm sure he will. We arrived early afternoon Woodpecker helped us get set up. Introduced ourselves then we ate a late lunch and took a little nap. Afterwards Woodpecker gave me some good rv advice (I'm new at this) and a better way to get through the city of Dayton. Enjoyed our conversation and hope to see him and Hootowl again. Carrol
This site is a little tight for our 29 foot fifth wheel and long bed pickup but once backed in was mostly level and had full hookups. Site is easy for motorhome. Site is partial shaded. Parking is short drive from downtown with a great variety of shopping and eating choices. Pilot and other fuel sources are also available. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Had a quiet restful night. Would stay here again when in the area and recommend for other travelers.
We stayed in Jan. 2016. We were well received by a charming couple. It's a safe and quiet place.
These hosts have a wealth of knowledge of the area, including where to find the least expensive fuel. Very accommodating, comfortable, restful stop. We hope to visit again if in that part of Ohio. Hope we can return the favor if they come our way.
My wife and I were traveling from PEI, Canada, to winter in southern Mississippi in Jan. 2013. One of our boondocking experiences was with Woodpecker and Hootowl. It was getting dark, so we drove past their place before Woodpecker caught up with us. We had a fine stay w/them. They provided sewer, water, and electric, moving their rig from their normal site to make room for ours. Woodpecker told a great story about his purchase of his rig. They were very gracious hosts and provided a restful site for the night. We certainly recommend their site.
