Do you know or have you hosted this user?

I am retired and loving it. We RV part time and I will go full time in three years. Meanwhile, I love to see this magnificent country of ours and invite people to experience that same awe.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I am a photographer and a hiker and am fulfilling a bucket list to hike the entire Blue Ridge Parkway, one trail at a time.

Asha's Pets

I have one dog, a twelve pound Bichon.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

This area is rich in boondocking opportunities. I prefer quiet Forest Service roads and peaceful mountaintop balds.

Asha's Hometown

I live in a tiny town called Hildebran which gained fame when the film The Hunger Games was filmed here at Henry River Mill Village.

Quick and quiet stay

I was happy to host Asha. She only needed a place to stay, no amenities and no pets so it was super easy. She arrived late and was gone in am. I was hosting family so I didn't even get to say hi! Asha was very considerate, keeping me informed of her arrival time and plans. I would gladly host Asha in the future.

Great Host!

We enjoyed our stay at Asha’s Acres! The location was perfect for us to visit family in Hickory while there. We had plenty of space to park and we discovered the people of North Carolina are very welcoming and hospitable! We were welcomed to this site with a fresh, warm, delicious loaf of homemade pesto bread and some homemade jam.
