We are a farming couple in south central Minnesota. For the most part we're homebodies, but we do manage a few trips a year.
We are new to the RV travels, but would love to chat with others about places to visit.
Yes many! We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks, cattle, and a horse.
Despite being mid structure-build, they let us come stay for 2 nights. We got there at sunset and they helped us maneuver the work zone to get setup. They were very friendly and had tons to talk about as there were so many projects going on at once. We were constantly greated by their 2 dogs and barn kitty. It was such a treat being surrounded by chickens, ducks & roosters clucking around. Our indoor cat was having a ball, haha. We even saw a bald eagle the morning we were heading out. They recommended the Holiday gas station in town that fills up propane tanks for $13, so good score on that one too haha.
Hoping to stay there again soon!
Very Quiet at night! Couldn't check much out as it rained the entire time, but room for our big rig for the evening.
We stayed a couple nights to explore Minneapolis. Quiet stay. Our dog and cat enjoyed watching the chickens and ducks through the windows.
It was a great place to stay for a couple days near Minneapolis. The boys enjoyed the campfire.
Very nice hosts! Like their profile states, this is a working farm. If you have dogs just make sure they like chickens. This is a very quiet stop. Easy to find. A little tight with our tt and tv (we total 59') but doable!
