Marie is a retired Physician and Craig from a business in Agriculture. We lived on a sailing catamaran for a few years after retiring then moved to Port Townsend Washington to live ashore and explore the Inside Passage to Alaska. We spent our last two winters in the Sea of Cortez Baja Peninsula on our trailerable liveaboard Cutwater boat. We recently bought a 25 ft Leisure Travel Van motorhome and are on a seven (or so) month land cruise. We seek out nice bike trails to ride our recumbent trikes and interesting waterways to launch our kayaks. Jack the Amazing Super Dog travels with us. He is a 24 lb non-shedding Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) that we picked up at the Key Largo Humane Society when we were living there on our boat. Jack recently received his certification as a Therapy Dog and has visited patient care facilities bringing puppy kisses and smiles to his new friends. He is also Marie's hearing alert Service Dog and he never met a human he didn't love. We look forward to meeting you.
Living on a boat taught me skills that have transferred well to living in an RV.
24 lb Schnauzer/Poodle, non-shedding, obedient comedian.
Forest Service dry camps along streams and lakes.
Port Townsend Washington. A beautiful seaside town that is the wood boat capital of the west coast.
We have a 2018 Leisure Travel Van Unity Twin Bed model. There are no slide-outs. We typically will be towing a 5’ x 8’ cargo trailer. We have adult recumbent tadpole tricycles which each have an electric motor. These are carried in the Cargo Trailer. We have four 100 Watt solar panels on the roof. We also have a propane generator if needed, which we usually do not use.
Craig, Marie and Jack were a absolute pleasure to have stay with us. They are welcome back anytime. We will see you guys again.
Had a short but outstanding visit. Glad they will be back for local warranty follow up visit(s). Our dogs had a wonderful time running and playing together. Had great time sharing stories and experiences. Will do more next time.
