We are semi-retired. We have a great family and a cute little jack russell named Peanut.
Firefighter and RN.
Peanut is our little jack russell who loves the water. Swimming is her favourite thing.
We haven't had the opportunity to boondock as yet but we love the Niagara Region for its many adventures. Hiking trails, wonderful parks and picnics by the lake.
We live in the small but growing town of Keswick situated on Lake Simcoe.
Roadtrek 190 Popular. We often have bikes on a trailer hitch.
Loved having Jim and Joanne. What a great couple. We had a good meal together and enjoyed the good conversations and really good laughs. I think we found some good friends.
We truly enjoyed hosting these people. Lots of good conversations especially with our grandson who was impressed that one was a fire person the other a nurse and both talked about their careers. He also showed him how to put out a fire properly and to toast marshmallows. Lets not forget their four legged friend Peanut a well behaved and smart Jack Russell who enjoyed the pool with our grandson.
JoandJim were lovely people, very friendly and generous. They shared conversations with us and invited us to their bonfire on Saturday evening. If you’re in the area, it’s a great stop, very quiet and with swimming very close by. It was a wonderful first experience using Boondockers Welcome and we appreciate their hospitality! Cheers!
Wonderful place a block from Cook’s bay.
We watched a lightning show from across the bay.
Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
We hope to stay again.
Meeting people like Jo and Jim is why we camp. Super nice, friendly generous and patient. We were late arriving and stayed longer than arranged and our time with them was still too short. Do yourself a favour and visit with them whenever you get the chance. We will.
