I'm 67, wife 66, retired, enjoy camping and just re-entered the rv world after years of absence. We have traveled a lot. We annually travel to Hawaii for 6 to 8 Weeks. Now looking at wintering in the south before heading to Hawaii. I grew up in this area, with my family near by. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all live within 25 mile of us. My wife runs a county gift shop on our property. It's "Precious Angels Gift Shop", specializing in angels, lawn and garden decoration, concert statuary. The shop is also one of the largest Ohio State Buckeyes retail outlet in the area.
Very handy, creative, quite a few hand tools. Just physically cant work to hard anymore.
Love to talk about traveling and sharing about Hawaii. Can share info about our area. We are only about 3 mile from Grand Lake St Marys. It's a man-made lake for the Miami Erie Canal. Would love be to have you visit us. Come enjoy the country life, we have some highway noise, but its not bad.
We currently have a small 14 year old, grand puppy. ( ummm long story) She very friendly, but very curious. She's in house most of the time. She will want to greet you.
Grew up just a few miles from here on a family farm. No longer a farm owner, downsized several years ago. Have lived in the Celina area, northern Mercer County most of our life, except for collage and traveling. The wife was from Geneva, Indiana, about 25 miles straight west of us. We have lived here for 46+ years.
We have a TT that's 22' including tongue and tow with a Ford F-150 super crew. Trailer is lite and compact with a small 18" slide that doesn't require and supports. We do have a awning we use depending on weather. We usually travel with our small older dog, a 15lb Malti-Pom. She's very friendly. We travel with about 50' of extra cord and hose if we should need hookup. Electric & water hookup is always nice, but not required for short stays. If a longer stay we would probably need electricity and maybe water.
We really enjoyed having Richard & Jenelle stay and sharing story's and experiences. They are always welcome to return. We are hoping to visit them again on our travels north sometime. Safe travels and enjoy Boondocking.
Very friendly couple just passing through on their way south. Enjoyed meeting them and a brief conversation. Due to our schedules we didn’t visit long and they stayed only one night. We hardly knew they were here but they’re welcome back anytime.
Super nice couple fleeing south to warmer climates. Very short stay (overnight) but enjoyed their visit and conversations. Good feelings all-around.
Enjoyed hosting this couple. They were fellow Ohio State fans, and arrived in time to watch the second half of the OSU/Ind game with us. They are welcome back anytime.
We were welcomed as if we had known each other for years. Very nice spot in the driveway of the shop. And now we can say we have friends in Celine, OH! Thanks again!
We really enjoyed our stay and feel we have made new friends. We hope they will be able to visit us in the winter. The location is very good and we could not have been made more welcome from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. This is a great place for any one to spend a night or better still a few days. A big thanks to our hosts.
Such sweet hosts. Enjoyed stopping in her stop and hanging out under the cool shady tree. We just fit in the turn around u-shaped driveway with our big rig 45 ft fiver. Our hosts were incredibly a accomodating and met us upon arrival. This location was great stop on our return east from black hills. Thanks a lot!
This was our first boondocking experience and a great one. Our hosts were so kind and hospitable. Great tips from them, beautiful country setting, delightful gift shop! Hope to stay here again.
Very pleasant and gracious host. Very nice piece of property amid farmland and cornfields. Hosts are very polite and helpful. Thanks so much!
Such gracious hosts, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The location is right in the middle of corn and soybean fields and we loved our morning walk down their rural country road. Great conversation with them; shopped in their little store for some gifts from the road. Look forward to crossing paths again in the future.
