I am a leg amputee and retired rehabilitation counselor. I began my career in Massachusetts, moved to Oregon, worked for the State for 14 years and then retired. I love traveling the US in my Roadtrek with my dog, Sam, seeing the sights, taking pictures and talking with new people.
I am a non-drinker and non-smoker but I have an unquenchable sweet tooth.
I grew up in a family of mechanically inclined brothers and father. I learned very early how to diagnose and repair most every kind of automotive problem. My 2004 Roadtrek is my fifth, and best, class B. I have lots of expertise on the inner workings of most small RV and I have made several modifications to my Roadtrek.
I travel with my Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix dog. As my mother used to say, "He loves the world and everybody in it." Sam is a great camping dog and loves to make new friends wherever he goes.
I live in McMinnville, Oregon, about 30 miles south of Portland. McMinnville is about 30,000 people with a small town feel and charm. I moved here 16 years ago from Springfield, Massachusetts. I was born in Hartford, and grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut. I lived there for 45 years before moving to Springfield.

We loved visiting with Dave. He kept his dog well under control and cleaned up after it. Being dog lovers we enjoyed them both. Dave had just crossed the country as far as MA and back and told us of some of his memorable times staying at other Boondockers. Great visitor.
What a great guest. Be sure to stop again when you can stay 2 nights.
It was great to have Kaveding stay at our home last night. We discussed our recent travels. He and Sam are welcome to stay anytime.
We really enjoyed hosting Dave on his trip across the United States. He is a very interesting person and his dog is wonderful as well. We hope you can stop back sometime Dave!
