I play golf, boat, fish, my wife (Chris) makes and sells custom crystal/beaded jewelry and is a retired master floral designer. We both enjoy all water sports. Camping is a renewed activity. We just sold our houseboat & bought a motorhome.
Before buying our houseboat we traversed the great loop waterway of the U S which was a 6000 mile adventure.
We lived on a 37ft. cruiser off & on for 6 yrs.
I have taught safe boating, safe driving and l'm sort of a shade tree mechanic. Chris makes beaded jewelry & antique reproduction beaded purses. She can take a bunch of wild flowers & weed and make a fantastic arrangement. We are both certified divers but have not dove in awhile.
We love meeting & making new friends and playing/teaching cards. (Ohio Farmers Rummy) is our favorite.
We have 1 yorkie dog ( 8 lbs.). "Gidget"
She is a licker & loves everybody.
Anywhere we cam make new friends or anywhere close to the water.
Wapakoneta, Ohio Home town of Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon
We have a refurbed 2001 Minnie Winnie Motorhome on a Ford Chaise..........We pull a.2007 Gray Saturn Vue on a tow dolly.
Enjoyed hosting these wonderful folks, very helpful and full of great knowledge welcome back anytime
We are so glad we did not miss the opportunity to host these wonderful Boondockers Welcome guests at Candy Cane Corral. We had such a good time with them- sharing many experiences of RV life- and life in general. We felt like we had known them for a long time and sure look forward to many more return visits. We wish them Godspeed and safe travels as they journey toward home. Come home again soon! Perry, Ginny & Georgia
Steve and Chris visited us for 3 nights and we would happily have them back any day. They are very down to earth, respectful and pleasant to talk with. Their dog Gidget is well behaved, quite and really tiny. We shared some stories about life and hardly knew they were here when we weren't out there talking with them. They even brought a gift. Highly recommended to other hosts!
Steve & Chris were very easy folks to host. Unfortunately they had to leave a day early because of family needs, so we didnt get to visit very much. They are welcome back anytime.
Yes I found gentleman who talks like me and a fellow jelly maker. I make huckleberry jelly and she left me some elderberry jelly, YUM! A lovely couple who are welcome to visit anytime.
Steve and Chris were a pleasure to have. Very self-sustaining, clean, quiet, and a joy to speak with. Would welcome them back if they wanted.
Steve.Chris are amazing hosts who we are now proud to call friends. They welcomed us despite the fact they were also busy packing their RV to leave in the morning. Since we were heading in the same direction and they planned to stay at a Cracker Barrel, we decided to join them there. It was a cold night but they hooked us up to share their generator. So provided us with electric not just at their home but from on the road as well. Can't beat that!! Hope they will come visit us in Ontario soon.
We had a great experience staying at Moon City. The hosts were great and met us to make sure we got all set up. He even offered us levellers as the spot is on an angle. The town is very cute nd quiet and probably somewhere we wouldn’t have stopped at otherwise. Glad we did and hope to visit the area again to further explore
Steve and Chris are wonderful hosts! They have an adorable little yorkie named Gidget who is just a little sweetie.
I was traveling through during a cold snap and had winterized a couple of days before. They offered electric and cable hookup. We had warm soup for dinner and rounded out the night with many rounds of Farmers Rummy.
We shared stories of our travels.
What a kind couple.
I slept great. The parking was on an angle. Steve had boards for me to drive up on to even me out. I have a class B with no levelers. The boards were just enough lift to make things reasonably level for me.
Steve.Chris were so informative and kept me updated on their visit. I really appreciated their communication, it was refreshing! They are always welcome.
