Pacley came and stayed for just one night, so we didn't chat too much, but were friendly folks with very well behaved pups. Didn't really need the hookups, pretty self-sufficient.
Mr. Beth's-Home-in-The-Pines brought me in to a great spot near the apple trees where I met their sweet dogs. We had a brief conversation and I was welcomed to have a campfire, complete with a full moon, after a trying day. It was so relaxing and I was safe and secure there. Thank You! Everything was great! Much appreciation.
We had a great stay with Bill as our host. Site was easy to navigate. Yard was beautiful and spacious. Super pet friendly.
Can’t wait to visit again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Beth's Place and couldn't think of a better way to spend Labor Day weekend. Access to this property is relatively straightforward with sufficient room to get in and out. The property is spacious and the hosts are very accommodating in sharing their backyard amenities like fire pit and picnic area. They even included us in a couple of cook outs. This spot is a good base of operations for exploring this part of Michigan. We visited Port Huron and up the coast of Lake Huron a bit. We definitely recommend this site and these hosts :-).
We had a lovely and quiet place to get to the interesting Detroit.
Better you can not wish
Thanks a lot

The hosts at Beth's home in the Pines were more than fantastic! Super generous, friendly, gracious, and all around just good people. Their 2 dogs were very friendly and seemed to enjoy playing with our 2 kids, and got along with our older doxie. Our kids loved playing, running around the spacious grounds, and climbing in the trees (approved by owners). They loved helping in the vegetable garden and were ecstatic about the fire pit. The property had plenty of room for our 42" 5th wheel and F350, as well as another larger class A and their toad. The town is a little older and some of the trees on the approaching road overhang a little too far into the road (obviously not the fault of the hosts), but we were able to avoid the stronger branches. The area was super quiet at night, no bright lights shining in windows. As our lifetime friends just moved to the area, we will definitely be staying here again if available!
We had an amazing Labor Day weekend stay. Beth's Home in the Pines is quiet with plenty of room for big rigs. Sam (Golden Retriever) and Mona (black lab) are wonderful to be around. We loved our time here with the hosts, and would definitely come back again if we are ever back in this area. we give it a 5 star rating!!!!
Our host at Beth's place were amazing! Sometimes things just don't go as planned and when our plans were interrupted our hosts really came through and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome.
The site is lovely and the drive on the gravel road is a short one. Fresh fruit trees and a garden provided a very picturesque setting and only a short distance from the interstate but still nice and quiet.
I would definitely come visit again when passing through.
We had a quick but super stay with the extremely friendly and helpful hosts. They offered everything we could have asked for and more, including a prelit campfire on beautiful spacious grounds.
We recommend if want to check out the Detroit area to stay at this location! The hosts could not be any nicer and very informative of the area. The location in the grass is out of the way and they have a garden!! It was great to talk to them the few times we did while there. Hope to see them again down the road somewhere!!
very nice man, it was raining so we didn't get to talk much but he was very accommodating
This was a great place to visit. Parcley are really great poeple. We had a great time staying at their house and sharing conversation. This is a good locataion if you want to do Greenfield village, it's about a hour drive all expressway. Wonderful people, we will stay there next time we are in Detroit.
Parcley, this thing says not to use your names, thanks.
The hosts were very friendly and got us set up with everything we needed. The pups were adorable and friendly and got along with ours as well. Location was quiet and very peaceful. First night I’ve slept through the night in a while. Also huge thanks for the snacks for the road!!
Lush green grass parking area, large enough to choose your spot and rig orientation.
Pacey is a most accomodating and outgoing host, and certainly made us feel welcome. He provided info about the area, suggestions of bike rides, etc. and even offered us the opportunity to pick fresh produce from their garden. (No assurance of availabilty however.)
We toured Detroit one day, only 40 minutes by freeway, and hung out the next. We were invited to come back and will be pleased to do so if/when we travel this way again.
Thank you Pacey for sharing "Beth's Home in the Pines" with us.
