Retired from NYDOT. Own a Bed and Breakfast with Wife Joan. Had the B&B for 20years. Myself and George[ my poodle dog] do most of the camping. About 100 days a year, half Boondocking.
If your not handsom you better be handy.
Geeorge my10 year old poodle travels with me. Rosie an American Eskimo keeps Joan company. Along with Jethero our Black house cat. Some semi tame cats in the barn and a lot of birds I feed.
My friends River Bank along the Allegany river. Tractor shows in Wisconsin. South Carolina in the winter.
I have been in Allegany NY nearly all my life. With in a 1/4 mile of my home now. Except for 3 years in US Army 1962-1965 when I met my wife Joan in Wisconsin.

It was a pleasure meeting and getting to host you at our Boondocker site! If you pass this way again, please stop by!!
Sorry not to get the chance to talk more. Sorry I missed saying goodbye.
Nice guest and hope to see you again when you come back for your grandson.
Gary is a very nice man , friendly and easy to talk to, I enjoyed having him stay with his adorable little poodle George !! I hope to see them again when they are down this way, it's a pleasure to meet such nice people !!
Gary was a pleasure to meet and host. His little traveling companion was very sweet too. We hope to see them again.
Enjoyable stay with my host. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Site is level and has water elec and dump. Water tastes the best! Easy in and out. Visited Rock City for interesting rock formations. Note that when I was there the last road sign says Road Closed but that is after the host's house. Google does not acknowledge the road closure. Always check with your host. Thanks to all boondocker hosts.
Hosts were welcoming and generous, and allowed us to pick a spot from several very good options. We chose a level, solid, gravel-and-grass pad that had its own dump station plus available water and 50-amp power for very reasonable fees (though we only took advantage of the power). Idyllic and quiet, even with other BW RVers and B&B guests there. Easy access from/to the lovely drive that is I-86.
This was a perfect stop for us! Only a few miles off the highway. Wonderful host; kind, friendly and informative. Hook ups were available which was a plus. We would absolutely stop here again. Thankful for the stop and hospitality.
Gallet’s was a great stop for us on our way home to Mass from Michigan. Gary is a warm and inviting host. Their B&B has wonderful views!
We enjoyed our stay at this NY farm. The property has multiple parking sites. Nice level sites. Full hookups available. Close to several local dining options. We had pizza delivered to the RV. Host is experienced RVer, fellow dog lover, and more than accommodating to guests. We highly recommend this host.
Very friendly host within a quick drive to town.
Lots to see and do in the area.
Safe parking area for your rig with hook ups.
Nice open area in back to leash walk your pets. Will stay again when traveling through.
Great family at a special location. Easy to get to. We pulled in and had electric, water and Sewer. Colorful leaves on surrounding hills. The house is old, warm and well kept. In family for generations with comfortable furniture, old photos and history. We were surprised to see it for sale, but it is alot of work for an older couple. Good luck selling it but it will be a great loss for BoonDockerWelcome.
Gallets was a great host and the location was perfect for us to visit with friends that live nearby.
Wonderful host and excellent communication, we did it all by phone as they were not home when we booked, that was so nice for them to arrange everything for us. We hope we meet sometime if we get back this way. Easy spot to plug in and enjoy, it was nice that they also offer RV dump although we didn’t need it during our stay. Beautiful drive in and Lovely evening at Gallets, thank you so much.
Beautiful setting located about 2 miles of I 86 in Allegany NY.
The site was large with all the amenities and our host made us feel like we were part of the family. I would highly recommend this location.
The Gallets had a lovely little B&B with several spots for RVs. We really enjoyed the pretty views and had plenty of room to walk around with our doggies. We spent a little time talking to the host and he gave us some information about the things to do in the area, including the Amish Trail, which we ended up doing a bit of. We really hope to be back soon and maybe even check out the B&B next time. I definitely would recommend this to anyone in the area.
The hosts are friendly people and they have a great place to stay. Recommend visiting them if you get the opportunity.
Gracious and friendly couple. Looking forward to staying with them again tonight!
I'm so thankful to this host. He was so helpful and kind to me during my stay. I was only there for one night, but I'd definitely recommend this B&B to other guests.
These hosts are two amazing people. They are friendly, full of stories and lead a very full life with his travels, her hosting and the upkeep of the beautiful Gallet bed and breakfast.
Our “spot” was perfect...level with fresh water and a 50 amp plug. They are very helpful and there are lots of cool stuff to do close by.
Inhad a great stay. They both were very friendly and helpful
