My husband just retired from being a pastor after 25 years. We moved in with my father to help him when he needs it. My husband is filling in for other pastors while they are on vacation part of the time. We hope to be able to do more traveling now that we have more time to do that. We hope to travel in the western part of the United States at first and then branch out as we have time.

We have 3 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and they all live within an hour and a half from us or else in the same city.

I would like to offer a boondocking location but it isn't possible right now. We live in my father's house and there isn't any space to park an RV or trailer.

Skills & Expertise to Share

My husband is pretty handy with fixing most things. He knows quite a bit about cars and computers and electrical things. He's also a good counselor as he's had lots of experience in the last 25 years being a pastor. I can sew, do crafts and do a lot of crocheting and sometimes knitting. Have done cross stitching but getting hard on the eyes. Have done some quilting, mostly baby quilts.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Most of our boondocking has been done in forest service campgrounds. We love the mountains, guess because we live in Colorado. One of our favorite places to go is South Dakota in the Black Hills. We have been there 5 times in 6 years. We hope to expand that as time goes on. We would like to do some traveling in Utah, New Mexico and Arizona to start with. Would like to try camping on the desert as we spent a week with my parents in Quartzite, Arizona several years ago and had a lot of fun.

Peggy's Rig

We have a 26 foot trailer that is a 1999 with a good sized slide out in the dining area and the couch. We pull it with an Excursion. It's just a normal trailer, nothing weird about it.
