I love the outdoors, hiking and camping. We have a Vanagon Westfalia we love traveling in. I have a couple more years before I can retire & I look forward to being able to travel more. My husband is retired and loves to ride his road bike.
My husband is mechanically inclined if there is a basic problem.
Here at home we have 2 cats, some chickens and turkeys.
Templeton is a small town about 5 miles from Paso Robles. We are located in the heart of wine country if that's your thing. If it's not, there are plenty of other things to see and do.

This is one of my favorite locations, very convenient if you are driving up north on Rt. 101. The hosts are great communicators, very hospitable and generous. It is also a 5 acre piece of land and easy to navigate (even in my 34 foot class A). I would welcome the chance to stay here again, as the view of the valley from this location is fantastic.
i only had the opportunity to meet one of the owners and we had a nice chat when I arrived. The area I parked in was flat. The weather wasn’t conducive to hanging out outside plus I was gone most of the time with my tow car volunteering at an event in town. The iris were dormant when I was there but I can only imagine that the gardens would be stunning when in bloom. Their place was easy to find in an area with beautiful rolling farm land which was emerald green due to a lot of much needed rain. It was a short trip to town for shopping and to see the goings on. I would stay here again for sure.
Friendly people, super quiet place, nice flat place to park.
This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and it was an very good one.
The parking space for our rig was perfect.
The view and the area is just marvelous.
Our hosts were very friendly and he even helped me fix some stuff on my 5th wheel.
We would definitifly like to stay again!
We spent one night at their beautiful farm and it was great. We had an electric and water connection. We loved the surrounding of the poperty, it was peaceful and charming.
Thanks to both of you for giving us a warm welcome and for lending us tools to repair our trailer :)
Wishing you the best,
Enjoyed our night here. Level spot with 30 amp plug in — very nice. Lovely view. Safe and quiet.
Quiet location with rolling hills and farms/wineries all around. Great for peaceful stay. Host were very accomodating and easy to communicate with. Thank you!
Very nice people. We only stayed over night but they let us use their electric!!! Their neighbors have a veggie farm, and berry picking!!! would definitely recommend !!!
It was so easy to park my van when I got there because they messaged me the simple instructions. And these folks could not have been nicer. They showed me around a little bit, and told me if I’d like, to walk around and enjoy the property. And the property is absolutely beautiful. They have a gorgeous dog, a troublemaking cat, and some chickens and turkeys. And their garden is bursting with life. They have beautiful vegetable plants everywhere. It really was a beautiful place to stay. And the hosts were so very nice. I would absolutely recommend their Boondocking site to anyone that will be passing through their area.
