Retired at the end of 2012. Love to RV travel.
Both of us have been camping and RVing since we were kids.
Carl: Computer performance tech, worked from home.
Karen: Registered nurse.
We love travel, walking, folk/Irish music, reading, kayaking, biking, and fixing things.
Parking for one or two nights or play it by ear etc. Parking would be at the end of the driveway beside the garden shed where there is 30amp power and a dump available. It'll help to back in so the garage door isn't blocked. We live in an area on a saltwater bay. There's a great neighborhood walk down Yokeko Road, a quiet lane for 1 mile with great views.
We have water, power, and WiFi available.
Handy with building and fixing stuff. Built a lot of this house. Built kayaks. Know lots about solar, electricity, plumbing. Karen knows a lot of Irish music and health stuff.
All over. Mostly in NW Washington state and BC Canada, but all over, wherever we can.
The last 5 years during the winter for 1-3 months we've spent in the SW parts of the US following the sun.
Boondocking or dry camping is always our preferred parking/camping method most of the time if we can.
Favorite places? Water front areas around Port Townsend and Anacortes, rivers in BC., the desert in the SW US.
The town of Anacortes is actually about 12 miles to the north.

The Elliotts responded quickly to my last minute request.I arrived at sunset to their lovely waterfront home. Since I planned to leave early to catch a ferry I didn't plug in. Very grateful for their generosity and happy with my first boondockerswelcome experience.
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it could not have been better. Beautiful setting, very knowledgeable hosts concerning motorhomes and so helpful. We enjoyed our time there, and are so happy to be part of Boondockers Welcome because of the Elliotts. Sharon
Superlative view, friendly folks, full hook-ups. Can't beat that combination!
I felt like I have know these nice people for a while before I appeared in their driveway. We shared soup, fresh cheeries and great stories....
Very friendly hosts, spontaneous welcome. A nice quiet place to stay. They allowed us to sit in the garden on the waterfront.
