We enjoy traveling in our Vetra. We spend several weeks in Florida each winter and enjoy meeting people. Our family and church are very important to us. We farmed for about 20 years then had a trucking and excavating business
We have a 40 ft Vectra and the tow is a Chevrolet pickup.
A wonderful couple! We spoke for hours. A beautiful property with a great parking area as well. Thanks for the stay.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience, and wow, what an amazing pair of hosts.
They made us feel incredibly welcome and treated us like family!
They were able to tell me the best way to get there to avoid a killer hill.
Very roomy place to park, and helped me get the truck all situated when we arrived.
Enjoyed several pleasant conversations and they were so kind to invite my family to enjoy some ice cream with them one of the nights, and shared with us some vegetables from their garden (dont think I tasted a better tomato)
I'm looking forward to coming around this way next year to hopefully stay with this awesome couple for a few days.
We immediately connected with G&M, they are welcoming and friendly.
We enjoyed sharing stories on the porch over a glass of fresh Meadow Mint Tea. They shared corn, tomato and cucumber, fresh picked from their vegetable garden. There are many colorful birds at the feeders and beautiful flowers all around. A very peaceful location.
Pigeon Hill Nest is a great location for visiting historic Gettysburg.
When we were leaving they gave us good directions for our trip south to avoid the city areas.
We hope to catch up with them in our travels and in Florida.
It was a pleasure to stay with the Pilgrims and it was great fun to explore their “Three Hills”. A gorgeous location! Their hospitality was second to none and we had such a fine time visiting that it was hard to leave. Thanks so much, M and G for everything. We will sure give you a call if we come this way again , M&J
As gracious and pleasant a couple as one can imagine. We enjoyed our many visits with Glenn and Mim and especially the opportunity to view the beautiful 1958 Chrysler Imperial. Anyone in the area would be advised to look them up and I certainly hope they can visit us in Kansas one day.
For our first stay overnight with a Boondockers host, our experience could not have been better. Glenn and Miriam welcomed us, provided an electrical hookup, drinking water, and restful conversation. The space provided was level, paved, with plenty of room for our 25-foot trailer and pickup truck. We found it comfortable to stay hitched for the night. They shared their back porch and yard with us, as well as a beautiful, cool, and quiet Pennsylvania afternoon. The surrounding area is serene, peaceful, and semi-rural, with woods and cleared cropland, rolling hills, small streams, and magnificent vistas opening around every turn in the road. We hope that on our next trip to Pennsylvania we will be able to stay with Glenn and Miriam again.

This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and we could not have had a better experience! Our hosts were amazing! So kind and welcoming, and their site for us just lovely!
We enjoyed a peaceful few nights complete with fireflies and beautiful birds. We also had the opportunity to go into Spring Grove and Hanover for some exploring including the Utz chip factory tour!
We enjoyed so much meeting our hosts, who invited us for dessert the last night of our stay.
We are very grateful!
This is a nice a quiet place to sleep. Our hosts were wonderful. We had a great time there. Level spot. Easy to get into. We would definitely stay here again. Hope we cross paths down the road. Wonderful couple.
Glenn and Miriam are the nicest people!
They helped us with water issues we were having, had great conversations, gave travel tips.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Pilgrims. Fabulous, friendly, welcoming and generous people. We felt very special when we were invited to share Thanksgiving with them and 20 family members. A wonderful and memorable experience. Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Australia.. John taught family to throw a boomerang which was fun. G recommended a wonderful mechanic, and gave us lots of local info. We shared family, life and travel experiences over coffee. Cannot believe we have known Pilgrims for only 4 days - it feels like years. Hope sometime, somewhere we will meet again. A great place to stay if you pass through the area..
This is a very quiet, peaceful spot in the Pennsylvania countryside. The hosts are very friendly, offering any help we might have needed. If you are in the area you will love your stay here!
It was a pleasure staying with Pilgrims at Pigeon Hill Rest. I had a wonderful time talking with them and sharing stories about their travels and mine. I also really enjoyed walking around the area near their place, a beautiful example of Pennsylvania farm country. All in all a perfect stay.
We had the privilege of staying with G&M for a couple of nights. They are friendly and helpful people. We enjoyed staying with them very much. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it. You too can enjoy the peaceful area and hospitable hosts. We are looking forward to meeting up with them again.
These folks are as good as it gets, super friendly and welcoming. And the boondock site was as good as it gets. We were even lucky enough to have been invited over for dessert which made for a really nice evening. Wish we could have stayed longer, hope to pass through again soon to visit our new friends.
I had a very brief stay. They are very friendly people a d found a level place for me to set up even though they had other Boondockers staying. They offered electric and water. I was very pleased with the quiet surrounding. Thanks Glenn for accommodating me!
We were greeted by a lovely couple at the driveway. They helped us set up and plug in. Their property was beautiful and neat as a pin. We were invited up to the house to visit and partake of a homemade sweet.
We had bicycled Gettysburg all day and this spot was a welcome reprieve.
Thank you, Pilgrims!
