My husband (Chester) and I (Sally) have been Living the Dream since 2013. We don't go fast and we don't far and we like to volunteer in-between. We recently bought a rental property in The Villages, FL. If you haven’t heard of this amazing, active retirement community in central Florida (an hour north of Orlando) -Other than what CNN reports 🤣 - you need to check it out!
Chester has legit computer/technology skills and I (Sally) like to think I can cook but I'm probably better at entertaining which is a distraction from my cooking!
We started with 2 and sadly had to put one dog to sleep in Las Cruces, NM in February (2018). Cooper is our 13 year old Schnoodle who hangs with us now.
We love taking advantage of our beautiful country's BLM land but admittedly haven't done nearly as much of it as we'd like. Now that we’ve got a solar equipped truck camper we hope to do more exploring!
We raised our 3 kids in Tega Cay, SC (just across the border from Charlotte, NC). We sold our house and all our belongings there in 2013. Ever heard of Jim and Tammy Faye Baker??? Our claim to fame! Our kids have spread out (SLC, Charlotte, and Fort Worth) so we’ve got lots of excuses to be on the road!
2021 host Yukon truck camper-
I enjoyed evening chats with WhereRVToday. They are very polite, and their dog is sweet. They are welcome back any time.
I didn't get to spend much time with RVToday, but they were great guests, very polite and gracious. Always welcomed! Jason
Very like able couple but only stayed one night. They would have been welcome to have stayed longer. They are welcome back anytime.
a great visit by these full timers... fully enjoyed their portable propane campfire!! would have liked them to stay longer!
Nice couple, they were only here for one night so unfortunately we really didn't get to spend any time together, but they are welcome to come back any time 😊
They left their truck parked with us for the weekend (their RV was in for service) and headed off to a music festival on their bikes! (We are close to a wonderful trail and they made the 17 miles trip to Yellow Springs and overnighted in a B&B.)
Enjoyed a wonderful visit with music in common on their return.
