My husband and I love to travel and explore the outdoors.
We have 2 little dogs that are super spoiled.
We had a nice visit with hosts, they have a beautiful kept property, the drive in did include a 1.5 mile drive on wet gravel road but is very stable, little challenge getting turned around with car and dolly, would not have been a problem with out rain , thanks again had a comfortable stay
Sarah-Mike were very accommodating with our change in plans arriving a day late and having a flexible departure date. They were very easy to find and their spot had entertainment for the kids. They have a very nice welcoming packet with local information to get you acquainted with the area.
This was a great place to relax for a couple of days before hitting the road again. The host couple were delightful people, friendly but respectful of privacy. They had two small dogs that our own dogs enjoyed playing with. Easy set up for our 35 ft travel trailer. Thank you so much Sarah and Mike!
The host location was a little difficult to find without GPS, but was well worth it! Their parking spot is under a groove of huge shade trees and protected from sun and excessive wind. They were gracious enough to provide a 15-amp cord for our cooler and fans. Internet and cell coverage was sufficient with good 3G coverage. We stayed two days in wonderful shade with peace and quiet, and were able to catch up on our web work. Many thanks to our hosts!
Sarah and Mike were quick to respond. Then they were quick to welcome us. They had more than enough room. They had information on local attractions and events. They set up a fire ring for us and offered their own wood to burn. They had great WiFi. Friendly dogs. They even have a hot tub, which we regrettably didn't take advantage of. Sarah and Mikes place was the perfect stop over for us on our long road trip. If we come back through the area we will absolutely ask to stay again.
What a great night's stay with our hosts. They welcomed us when we arrived, even though we had to delay our arrival a day due to an issue with our rig. Our dogs all got along great and Tito enjoyed his run in the yard with little Lola. The north driveway is a little hard to see and depending on your rig, and may be a little difficult to level. We are 40 ft and had a little difficulty leveling. If you have a propane refrigerator, leveling blocks will be a plus. Our host graciously offered 50/30 amp power (an extension came in handy,) WiFi is really only accessible from the back patio, and cell service is very limited. We have enjoyed our travels in Iowa, and our hosts were very gracious.
Sarah & Mike were most welcoming. We all talked for a while, mostly about each other's RVs. Our little dog, Toby, really enjoyed romping with Mike & Sarah's dogs under the huge trees on their "park like"property. Mike had a 30a hookup for us and filled our water tank before we left.
Thanks a bunch,
David & Linda
