My husband and I reside in North Carolina where all 7 (blended family) of our children and 15 grandchildren live. He was a physician assistant and I did accounting and teaching. Now we play golf and I make quilts. Quilting has been a wonderful creative outlet that provides an object that warms the body and soul. I am “sew grateful” I found this hobby. My husband has challenges but we continue to play a few holes of golf when possible. He learned how to sew so he could make quilts for Quilts of Valor for wounded soldiers.
We are dog lovers but unfortunately had to put our beloved miniature poodle to sleep recently. We are waiting before we adopt another dog.
Seven Lakes, North Carolina is our home which is just outside Pinehurst. So there are a lot of Lakes and golf courses where we live.

Sewgratefulquilts is welcome to stop back anytime they are in the area.
We talked them into staying another night. That’s how much we enjoyed their company. Seems we’ve known them forever. We went to dinner to get to know each other and had a great visit. Very respectful and kind. We will definitely keep in touch. Would have them back anytime.
Was pleased to see these folks sitting in their two-seater chair under the awning just enjoying our view. Was also glad they could enjoy seeing firework celebrations of 3 towns, as well as numerous private displays all from the comfort of their rig. Great chat over coffee, hope they stop again!
We had a very short visit, came in visit for half hour and I was off going camping for weekend.
But in that short little visit I wishing I could have more time with them.would welcome them back anytime.
Sewgratefulquilts pulled in my driveway unhooked there car. I sent them to the Green River so they could maybe find a campground on the river. They found one and off they went. Hope your haveing a good time.
Come back anytime when you can’t stay so long. Lol.
Loved having these two here, giving Rving a good name with their positive, happy outlook. We so enjoyed having them stay with us. Hope they will stop by again if they need a place to stay.
What a nice couple! They are new to Boondockers Welcome and we were happy to be one of their first experiences. Wish them happy travels and they are welcome to return here again.
