I am planning on full timing on the road within the next year. I lived in a big slide on for five years in the 80's. Then moved on to a sailboat liveaboard for another two years. I have been stationery since 1990 and am now in a position to go again.
I purchased a used Class A recently after looking for a year and a half. It is a 2002 Safari Trek that I am getting ready. Once I get rid of my possessions, it will be my way on the highway.
I'll see you out there.
Over the five year period, I boondocked most of the time. When friends came to travel with me, they wanted campgrounds. I really enjoy national parks and camping along the ocean. I once boondocked on the street in the French Quarter for three days while in New Orleans.
West of the Mississippi.
I have a 2002 Safari Trek 2830. It is unique in that it is a Class A with everything that you would see in a larger unit, but it does not have a bedroom. The queen size bed comes out of the ceiling in the living room. This also has a very large bathrooom in the rear with an incredible amount of storage.
