My husband and I recently moved from California to Colorado and are now using our time before our children are in school to travel the US with them.
Kyle grew up traveling with his family in campers, however, my family always grew up tent camping. We both have wanted to explore further, but didn't want to spend our time in airports with our kids. RVing has been great as they are always sleeping in a familiar place each night.
Before children, I was a school teacher. My husband, Kyle, is a mechanical engineer and is employed in the bicycle industry.
We love riding bikes, camping, hiking and being outside.
Mari has worked with children in some capacity since she was a teenager. Worked in both the home daycare setting with infants and toddlers and with elementary and junior high school children as both a teacher and coach.
Kyle is a mechanical engineer and is a bike master and general tinker-er.
We haven't been to any Official "Boondockers" welcome locations yet, however, when we camp, we typically find BLM or National Forest land to sleep. We recently spent a few days in Utah in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and had a blast!
When we aren't traveling, we live in the Southwest corner of Colorado.
We have a 2014 Jayco Jayflight 19RD Travel Trailer. We pull it with our 2015 Ford F150.
Their children were very well behaved as they watched TV in my home. We had great conversation. During the night they were very quiet.
Chubbyexplorers’s were excellent guests. We enjoyed meeting them and their adorable children. We had time to chat and they cooked a delicious meal for us. They are welcome back anytime.
