We are just coming into our fourth year of RV'ing. We like to travel in the summer months from our home in Arizona.
My wife and I love to meet new people and share a glass of our favorite wine to those that are so inclined.
Looking forward to making new friends around the Western USA (for now).
We like to explore, hike, play golf and have been a licensed pilot for more than 30 years with single and multi-engine ratings with instrument privileges.
We are also experienced motorcycle riders having crossed the USA a couple of times as well as toured through Europe on our Harley.....we do not currently travel with a motorcycle.
We have built a robust Solar system with a large battery bank and I really enjoy talking about and helping others install solar on their RVs and would be willing to assist in any of these areas.
We have an Umbrella Cockatoo (remember the the bird in the TV show Baretta?) who sometimes travels with us. He is a loving and friendly fellow who has been with us for over 30 years and is part of the family.
We love secluded places with access to mountain lakes and streams, wineries, good food and entertainment as well as exploring the natural beauty of our nation's national parks and open spaces in our truly Off-Grid coach.
We now call beautiful Lake Havasu City, AZ home and is a great base for our travels especially in the summer months when our average temps are typically in excess of 100*.
2001 Alpine Coach. We tow a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited
Great guests! Great Boondocking experience! It was like we already knew them for years. Can’t wait to have them back, and Yogi too!
We very much enjoyed the visit [though short it was] with these great folks. Do hope they come back this way again - and stay with us for a longer time. In the meantime, we wish them safe travels and would highly recommend them to other hosts.
Paul and Jean stayed 1 night, they are warm, down to earth people, hit it off right away. They invited us to share some of their favorite wine and we talked for quite some time. We really enjoyed our visit with them. We hope to see them again. When and if we get down their way, we will stop for a visit. Jean is a lady close to my soul, she loves animals as much as I do!!
We are always pleased when folks like the friendliness of our Cats. They are welcome anytime and we will definitely see them in when we land :) in Lake Havasu, sounds like fun. London Bridge here we come!
