We love camping and traveling. We are currently converting a 30 foot school bus into an Rv. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs and live in a quiet little spot in sw north Dakota. Lots of room to stretch out. Plenty of space to park any rv and have a quiet place to get some rest.

I deliver Fuel and Propane in bulk and am certified in Propane installation and repair.

RustyBeard's Pets

We have 2 male dogs that are not neutered. They are both blue healer and mini Aussie mix. We don't travel with them. They stay home to watch the cattle and the chickens. We also have 15 free range chickens that wander all over the property.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

We love the Black Hills in South Dakota and frequent there often.

30 foot ford F-800 bus conversion. We are self contained. I have solar and a quiet inverter generator. We couldn’t find a RV that we liked so we decided to just build our own.

Above and beyond

Our host opened his calendar for us to be able to stay with him, and then we had a change of plans, and asked if we could come sooner. He wasn't going to be home, so he set us up at his dad's house. Then we had a family emergency, and had to head home. These are the type of people that make BW so special. We love BW, and all the people that we get to meet.

Boondockers welcome

They sure made us feel welcome. What a neat family and beautiful quite place to spend a few nights on the road. I would recommend Rusty’s peaceful place to anyone who is in the area. We they get their “schoolie” on the road I hope to return the favor at our host site if they are ever in the area.

No city lights or traffic noise here!

We had a wonderfully quiet night here in rural ND. We very much enjoyed meeting Brad and appreciated his helpfulness, and the fresh eggs from their free range chickens! Plans for the school bus conversion sound great .. hope to see pics on their profile when it’s done.
