We’re just beginning a 10-month journey, having left Vancouver Island on May 31, 2018 on our way to Ontario to see family and then the Maritimes, followed by circumnavigation of the USA. I’m new to RVing but already love my 2007 Augusta 252DS, which I bought in California in Oct 2017 and named “Augusta Wind”. I love meeting new people and find RVers to be some of the best human beings on the planet. Am also brand new to Boondockers Welcome and look forward to meeting some great hosts on our trek around North America.
I’m pretty good with computers and photo editing software like Photoshop, and have been known to cook a good meal or two. I’m hopeless at mechanical stuff, though. I’m a girl, eh?
I have an adorable 4-year-old Yorkie named Larry. He loves all other dogs, big and small. His best friends are a Golden Retriever and a pit bull. He’s not fond of children - not sure why - and he’s been known to try to school puppies - you know, to let them know who’s boss - but otherwise he’s a lovely little guy and the best early warning system ever!
Anywhere that’s peaceful and treed and has a lake or river nearby.
I’m from Hamilton, Ontario originally but now live in Qualicum Beach on beautiful Vancouver Island.
My rig is a C-Class, 2007 27’ Augusta 252DS. Has two opposing slides but they do not need to be deployed for sleeping. Not towing anything.
We enjoyed meeting our new friends from Vancouver Island. They were perfect guests, quiet, and respectful. Hope to catch up with them on our tour North.
A good time was had by all. Little Larry is a charmer with a good personality - like his mom. Hope to see you guys on the flip side at your place! My 1st Hosting experience and it was very positive.
It was my pleasure to host this lady and her dog. I am sure you will like them if you have the chance to be their host.
This was the second visit for Lenore and Larry and they are very quiet and respectful guest. We had rain all day while they were here so they got plenty of rest and quiet time.
Safe travels Lenore, you are welcome back anytime.

It was my pleasure to host Lanora and her dog. I hope she enjoyed her stay and she is welcome back in the future. I am sure you will enjoy hosting her if you get the chance.
Lenore and Larry her pup were an absolute joy to host. My wife made an immediate friend with him.. She is our pet whisperer. Our Parrot Dusty took a liking to Lenore and I think the feeling was mutual but I couldn't convince her to take Dusty with her.. LOL.. We had a couple meals together, had wonderful conversation and learned a little bit more about each other. We made a new friend for life! Safe travels Lenore, see you again soon!
A GREAT Visit! She's my hero - Love her sense of adventure traveling solo meeting all of the challenges with such a smile & positive perspective. Larry was right at home and enjoying meeting new friends. Come back for a visit again! Sherry
Lcleitch stayed a couple nights with us and enjoyed the peacefulness of the river. They were very quiet and appreciative and welcome back anytime.

We had a lovely visit, exchanged our travel stories, our dogs played and played.
Loved having Lenore stop by.
We had a wonderful time talking into the evening and learning about their travels. The sweetest little dog in the world. We hoped he would stay, but his mom said he had to go with her. We understand why! They are always welcome back here.
A very nice lady and her traveling buddy (definitely let my guys know who the boss was - in a nice way). Enjoyed pleasant conversation. Smart, adventurous lady. Enjoyed her brief visit.
