Have lived in Tacoma for the past 35 years and recently sold my house in Fircrest. I lost my wife of 37 years back in March 2007. All three children (45,43 & 41) 1 boy, two girls are out on their own after college. I retired in 2005 after 45 years working as a CT/MRI Engineer for several companies in that field. I am a US Navy veteran (10 years) and served in Vietnam. For the past 8 years, I've volunteered as an Astronomy Ranger at Glacier National Park during the summer and did Volunteer Public Outreach using Astronomy as an introduction to Science in area schools during the winter months. Right now I am single and have no pets. I do not drink, smoke and have never taken any kind of drugs (I am not on any kind of medication either). I am an avid Golfer and play with my group on Mondays and sometimes on Wednesday or Friday. My current RV was purchased new in 2012 from Tacoma RV and is a Cougar 27RLSWE.
I love Astronomy and love to share this hobby with everyone anytime the night sky is clear. I retired from Teaching Astronomy at a University in Utah back in 2005.
I have not done boondocking before, but do have a generator for my RV and can go totally self-contained as I've done at several Astronomy Star Parties here in the Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Montana and a couple of times in Arizona and California).
Littleton, New Hampshire where I graduated from High School in 1958 Currently, I am living full time in my RV for the next couple of months until I move to Montana. Waiting for the snow to melt.
