I'm 71 now and still traveling solo with my three small dogs even though we had to take a break for a couple of years and then Covid delayed things. Now wanting to get back to seeing the USA. I am a California native and retired from the State of CA but spent many years traveling northern California as a salesperson. I now want to see more of the US. I have seen several National Parks and even though I am not on a quest to see them all I'd like to see more. First long trip in 2017 was to Glacier National Park and in 2018 I spent 3 months and 10,000 miles traveling from west to east and back. Saw so many new sites and met many new people.
I'm a good organizer! I have some computer knowledge although it isn't as good as it used to be. Photography is my hobby and pleasure.
Yes, three small dogs. All dogs have taken well to the long driving hours and the trailer space. I think they are pretty well behaved and love meeting new people.
I couldn't pick a favorite because so far every member in this group I have stayed with have been wonderful people with very nice sites. Those stays are some of the highlights of each leg of my trip. It was interesting being parked between two airplane hangers in Tennessee!
27' Arctic Fox 25R travel trailer with one slide out on driver's side. I tow with a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4 wheel drive truck. Truck is approx. 20' long.
We had a wonderful time chatting with Msaardvark and only wish we could of spent more time together along with her well behaved and friendly travel companions. Safe travels and if you’re in the area again please stay with us.
We absolutely loved hosting msaardvark and her cute co pilots. She has a beautiful set up and camper. We throughly enjoyed visiting with her and so wished we could have spent more time chatting. We wish her safe travels and would be honored if she stayed with again.
Great lady extremely nice person. you are welcome to come back here anytime. I had a great time talking with her yes I really bent her ear more than she probably wanted me to. I don’t get off the farm very often so it was great fun and I really hope she enjoys the rest of her trip Hope the rest of your trip in less uneventful. Mark
MSAARDVARK is a petite, young-at-heart lady driving a crew cab pickup truck hauling a large bumper pull trailer whose hitch weighs more than she does. She reminds me of the story about the cop, who pulled over an elderly lady in Texas. When she voluntarily produced several firearms that she carried in the car with her, he asked her what she was afraid of. Her response "NOT A G**D*** THING!! That may have been MSAARDVARK, afraid of nothing, an aware but confident senior. We had the opportunity for several conversations where I had the opportunity to get to know her somewhat. I certainly admire her SPUNK! She is most welcome to return anytime. Becky & George
Ms Aardvark is a bright, energetic, engaging lady on a quest to see America, and we had a wonderful visit with her. An avid photographer, she found some places worth visiting near us that we've never seen, and even left us the brochures. We wish her well on her continued discoveries, and hope she stops by again some day.
My wife and I really enjoyed having you stay at our RV park for one. You have such sweet traveling buddies, so well mannered little pups. We hope you can stay with us again if you are passing through Georgia, take care and safe travels.
This visit from our Boondockers Welcome guest was too short. We enjoyed Msaardvark and her two darling dogs so much and just kept on visiting, and visiting so they had to stay over extra days. We look forward to return visits and wish her Godspeed on the rest of her journey.
