While we are new to boondockersWelcome as of 2018 we have hosted
everything from couchsurfing, airbnb, workaway and more.

We are two elders who have lived in Florida Keys for decades, opening our land to visitors in various ways. The land has survived three major hurricanes and we learn more about where we live every time. Both handy, diy and wide varieties of interests.

Tom is a arborist and retired landscape & irrigation contractor.
Midge is retired midwife and hospice care provider.
Both master gardeners, avid readers.

Now traveling the country to see what we missed while working so hard all those years. We Like to pick up litter along the road as we travel and on the shore whenever we are there.

As of spring 2019 we will have a new location in Pagosa Springs, Colorado during summers! So excited for this new adventure.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Raised on a farm and Salt farming for last decade before Hurrucane Irma wiped us out, Tom is handy with many tools, is an arborist and retired landscape & irrigation contractor.

Midge is retired midwife and hospice care provider who loves working the earth in the old ways, cooking and studying healing remedies.

Both are master gardeners and always looking for ways to be of service when not occupied with our own various projects.

Sugarloaf Key is amazing low key spot

We had a great 3 day stay. So amazing to be guests in such a unique and beautiful area of the world.
Our hosts were wonderful van dwellers with so much knowledge in life and of the area. So very helpful with suggestions on ‘must do’ activities. They were generous with sharing their knowledge of the plants, animals and area. Cut us a bunch of bananas right off the tree - so sweet! Simple quiet spot with view of the stars at night.
Would be honoured to return in the future.

Pleasant Hosts and Location

We found VinnyPearl to be very accommodating and pleasant hosts. We had a wonderful experience. Perhaps we can return the favor by hosting them in the future.
