We're pretty low key, enjoy our quiet lifestyle in a small fishing community in Nova Scotia. Originally from Toronto, but having moved here in 1999, we have no regrets escaping the city life. We run a small business from our home creating and selling activities for people with dementia, enjoy boating and hope to enjoy truck camping just as much.
We are long time sailboat cruisers, having traveled to the Caribbean and Bahamas several times on our boats. We have a great woodworking shop (necessary to maintain our wooden boats).
We have two 11 month old (as of June 2018) Portuguese Water Dogs - brothers from the same litter. Quite a handful but we enjoy them. We previously had a brother and a sister from the same breeder and now we've done it again! Our previous dogs had wonderful adventures to the Bahamas on our sailboat, we hope to offer Grady and Gillam similar adventures in our truck camper.
None yet, but we hope to build a long list.
Originally from Toronto, but happily settled here in Stonehurst NS since 1999. Stonehurst is a small fishing community (just a few houses) about 10 minutes from Lunenburg. We LOVE it.
M and Ms HRay represent the picture that i had of the Nova Scotia People, welcoming, friendly, and simple. They hosted us like we were part of family. We shared precious moment. Hope seing you at our sugar shack.
What a wonderful spot, thank you for having us. Would love to have stayed to look around as you invited but the weather didn’t cooperate. Would love to visit this spot and this very welcoming couple again. Nova Scotia is so beautiful. Cheers
