Friendly, easy going bunch/Cowboy folk! The property is large and with a few spots to select depending on your rig and personal choice plus ability to move rig into some tight spots if you want the view. We our selves have a 40' Motorhome and a Truck with a 30' travel trailer, that we have no problems turning around once into the property. The front field in September host a good number of horse trailers/riders every September long weekend. We have had over 30 horses walking the trails of the property.
Horse back riding, Farming, Wi-Fi if needed.
We currently have 4 horses and a Cow. Pets are welcome but must be well behaved. No barking at animals or chasing on the property. Horse riders can be thrown from a horse if this happens hurting rider and horse. At times we do travel with the horses, but normally only to horse welcome camps.
New to boondocking so not sure about our favorite locations as of yet.
Ayton, Ontario. Small town with old Mill that still can be seen in town. Mostly Farmers in the area.
25' OutBack Travel Trailer with Rear Slide out making it 30' GMC Silverado 1500 toe vehicle.
Pleasant guests, they had a busy agenda so we didn’t have much of a chance to visit.
They seemed to enjoy their exploration here in our area.
We would welcome them back any time.
The Butler's were definitely tired when they arrived
Very respectfull & quiet peoples
The Butler's you are easy guest, when ever you are in area, please stop by !
Helene & Francois
We only had a short visit with Ron and Nancy and Earl and Betty but they are welcome back anytime
We were pleased to meet the Butlers. The time they spent with us was quite short, but it was quality time. They enjoyed our driveway and our Village. We would like for them to come back anytime and wish them safe travels. They were warm, friendly folks!
It was a short and sweet pit stop. I hope next time we will have time to exange. Have a nice and safe trip.
Nice friendly couple who enjoy what this old guy likes to do, visit the Mississippi Coast, eat at the casino buffet, and walk the nice little artsy town. Great having company to share the experience. They too like City Park and Audubon Park in New Orleans, my favorite spots. Welcome to visit anytime to escape the cold weather in the north.
Ron and his son and their friend had booked a days riding with Trial Tours in the Ganaraska forest, they stayed here last Friday to ride Saturday. They had a long journey and arrived late so it was dark and they wanted to rest so we got them set up and settled pretty quick in the dark. Never heard a peep from them and they were gone early in the morning with nothing left behind. Seemed like real nice folks would be happy to have them back in the future.
We had the fortune of a repeat visit to TheButlers. The peace and quiet of this country property, the ability to walk on groomed trails that led to beautiful sites after every turn, and of course getting to sit around and chat with one of the best host we have come across.
If anyone is looking for a place to decompress, or meet new and interesting hosts then I cannot suggest this location enough. There are plenty of things to do in and around the area from wineries, breweries, golfing and dancing just to name a few and only minutes away from town in case there is anything you need.
When we left we felt like we were leaving as friends rather than just Host and Guest. A heartfelt thank you goes out to TheButlers for the special treat you provided. I hope Mac got extra oats for putting up with me.
The Butler's were very friendly and welcoming. They offered us multiple locations that we could Boondock. We enjoyed the trails and appreciate the time they took out of their day to let us visit the horses. We would go again with no hesitation.
