We are converting a Bluebird bus to a "skoolie". We are friendly, quiet, and busy. We would be happy to allow people to stay on our property if we are here and not traveling ourselves. We will say hi but then you can relax and just hang out. We have a couple acres in the woods with our neighbors visible but not too close. Our long private road shared with our neighbors is one lane, very hilly, curvy, and dirt. We have pulled a travel trailer in and out, and our bus, but if your rig is very tall it would get scratched by tree limbs. We have a circle driveway, an extension cord, and a little firepit and picnic table for use by guests. Our neighbors are very quiet and would appreciate it if everyone retired early or really kept the noise level down. We would especially love to have skoolie visitors since we are converting our bus right now.
I am an upcycled wearable artist. We raised ten children but only 4 left at home.
We have 2 dogs, a cat, and 6 chickens, but they do not travel with us. The cat roams freely, but all other pets are contained.
Ortonville is a typical small rural town but you can still find most anything you want here. There is a lot of state parks close to us with nice hiking trails and beaches. It is 98% safer here than most anywhere else!
