I am a currently retired single female traveling with my old girl (Zeke) cat. We started traveling last year with friends for four months and are continuing this year with just the two of us. I am from Florida and will be out and about until mid-Sept. Arizona is my current destination, then headed up the Pacific Coast Hwy. Love traveling and I am excited to meet new people and see great new things.
Home is Vero Beach, Florida
I have a 22’ Forest River FSX Travel Trailer pulled with a Buick Rainier
This was the second time that I hosted Cindy. As before, she's very polite and friendly. She spent a couple days at my place while touring the local area. I look forward to seeing her again sometime down the road.
We really enjoyed having this nice lady as a Boondocker! She was friendly and pleasant. She had to have her windshield replaced and we were happy to be able to accommodate her needs by by being able to extend her stay by one day. (She was happy, too!) Loved her kitty, too! Safe travels, Girl!
Wonderful guest. Happy to have her back any time.
Courteous and helpful. Friendly and had great stories of her trips.
It was a pleasure for us to host Cindi.... and hear of her travels....
You won't meet a more gracious person than Cindy.. She offered to help with meal prep. She's also a terrific conversationalist and was happy to share her experiences of where she has been. In the process of setting up her trailer, she explained that she had gone to a three-day RV course. That explains why she was so adept in backing up her trailer.
We also learned a great tip from her. She explained about the problems that RVs can have when hooking up to an electrical source that has reversed polarity, meaning that the hot and neutral are reversed from the source. She had a small box with two or three testing devices to ensure that the hot lead is correctly wired in the source. She tested our extension cord first and then plugged in. We will add those devices to our electrical box and do the same when we're hooked up to an untested electrical source.
We'll welcome Cindy back in a heartbeat.
Cindy spent a couple days at my place while visiting the San Antonio area. She's a very pleasant person who is easy to talk to. She's courageously checking items off her bucket list. Good for her.
