I’m permanently on vacation and travel full time over the seven western states in a fully self-contained travel trailer (a true mobile home) that I live in full time usually off the grid.
I see life as an adventure and as long as I’m above ground I’ll keep exploring. I decided long ago I have two choices in how I live my life, to stay active and wear out or be inactive (sit around doing the minimum) and rust out. I intend to wear out…!
I lead an active life with hiking, biking, walking, adventuring and recently took up the sport of Pickleball. Just added a set of horseshoes to the mix.
I’ve become involved in astronomy since traveling and welcome the opportunity to share it with my host families.
Looking forward to continuing my Boondockers Welcome experiences...
No specific technical skills, although ready and willing to learn and adapt to various new situations.
I maintained a home and yard for many years, trimmed and pruned trees, hedges and bushes, repaired sprinkler systems, weeding, painting, plumbing and all of the other responsibilities that go along with a home... Sold everything and now free to travel and explore.
I volunteered for two years as an appointed member to the city of San Bernardino, CA Parks and Recreation Commission. One of my functions during that time was to organize and direct the quarterly park improvement projects. This required surveying the selected park to determine along with park staff the most pressing needs, what was possible for volunteers to accomplish, the cost to the Parks Dept. for the project, and coordinating the volunteers,. I was also involved with our Neighborhood Association Council which encouraged and coordinated neighborhood improvement projects.
i've boondocked and enjoyed many BLM and Forest Service sites in the seven western states.
I'm domiciled in Hesperia Ca. and usually return for a month annually to see friends and take care of business, then back on the road travelling and volunteering..

Larry was a nice friendly guy. Very quiet and neat and clean. Perhaps he will pass this way again one day. He is highly recommended.
Stayed a few days and we had great conversations…. Wish we had less smoke in the air so he could make better use of a telescope... You will be welcome back...
Onvacation4evr, Larry was a very nice and pleasant gentleman. Unfortunately he could only stay one night. We hope in the future he possibly might return in order to explore our beautiful area.
