Thanks so much to Collinc for your hospitality. CCHC Ranch is a beautiful, cozy location. I felt warmly welcomed and hope to come back another trip. Would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a spot in this area.
We arrived late, but Holly was gracious and welcoming. We parked in the driveway and were offered a place to plug in and the garage sensor light turned off since we pulled in forward. We enjoyed a peaceful and restful sleep overnight. Collin hadn’t returned from fishing by the time we left in the morning, (his friend’s trailer axel broke), so we missed meeting him. Holly gave Rachel a tour of their beautiful property, accompanied by the friendly tour dogs. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended this host!
We stayed for a couple of nights while we explored the local town. We stayed on the driveway and it’s fairly leveled. Our kids enjoyed their dogs and we enjoyed fresh fruits and veggies. The outdoor shower with hot water was a very nice treat.
What a pleasure meeting our host and immediately feeling at home. This was our first boondockers experience and we couldn't be more pleased. Their property is so lovely and we were provided with several choices for our rig. Peaceful and serene! Love their two precious dogs as they were just as welcoming as the host.
Just what we needed after exploring Spokane for the day! Their yard and gardens are quiet, lush, and relaxing. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The cute town of Couer d’Alene is only a few miles away.
Beautiful property and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer. I chose the driveway space only because I wanted power. Many nice grassy spots to choose from though. Looking forward to my next stay.
Their hospitality, generosity and pure kindness ....was such a gift. I have to say, I was quite spoiled while I was there but the peacefulness of my Hosts and the beautiful land they have cultivated was such a blessing to experience. Coeur D'Alene itself was fantastic to explore and enjoy, but meeting C & H and being at the CCHC Ranch ....the real gift.
C & H (edited: I just saw I wanst supoosed to use full names!) their BEAUTIFUL home, and pups....made me feel so welcomed and at home. I was actually quite spoiled while I was there!
THANK YOU- THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Great connection, conversation, sharing ....and Cour D'Lane is magic too.
Thank you! I'm so appreciative that you shared this beautiful space, and yourselves, with me! It was so wonderful getting to know you both!!!!!!
My hosts were so welcoming and friendly. I stayed for two nights and each evening we would sit out on their patio and chat. I loved the outdoor shower they have. It was such a unique treat to experience. The area is beautiful. They don't have horses on their ranch anymore but they do have fruit trees. And just a few minutes drive to City Beach in Lake Coeur'dAlene.
These folks couldn’t have been nicer and we really enjoyed our two day stay. Hope to be back here and would love to spend more time with them! Mary
This is our 2nd Boondockers Welcome stay and all we can say is what took us so long. Collin and his wife were wonderful host who spent time with us on the padio. We had access to raspberries, strawberries, and cherries fresh off the plants. They had two of the best fur babies that knew I needed the attention. We also took advantage of the outdoor shower. Wishing we had more time and would highly recommend this location not just for the beauty of the spot but the welcoming of the host.
This was our first boondocker experience and the hosts were so accommodating and gracious. We can see why people have enjoyed staying with them. The hot outdoor shower was a real plus.
Beautiful place. Nice people. Enjoyed connecting with them. Hope to see them again.
Great communications and hosting! We look forward to returning sometime.
Our first BW experience and it was very positive!! Collin and his wife are just absolutely lovely and they have a great fenced in yard that our dog truly enjoyed!! On top of that, the town is fantastic!!
Collin and Holly were super sweet and so were their dogs. They have a lovely home right near town. The drive in with a longer vehicle or trailer might be a challenge for some but Collin guided me in nicely. We had to leave the next day to meet our timeline but I would of liked to stay longer. When I go back there to hike or bike I’m definitely going to see if this spot is open. Love boondocking!
We stayed with them in October for two nites, Met their nice kids and spouses who were visiting, and had a wonderful stay. We were there to visit our family who live nearby.
I thought I left a reference after our stay but apparently didn't do it correctly. So now I'm correcting that.
Very friendly and easy going people. This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome. Excellent experience in a gorgeous setting.
We had an absolutely fantastic time visiting C&H. We had a natural affinity for each other since we both have Roadtreks. They were very informative about the Coeur d'Alene area.
Their "spread" is in a beautiful wooded area above the city with plenty of room. The outdoor shower is amazing and a great experience... including hot water. C designed and built it himself.
We would love to go back again, and, C&H we sure wish you would take a road trip down into California and visit us!! Cheers! J&M
This was simply just a great stay overnight with wonderful folks! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended to other travelers interested in the area and the local people.
Warm friendly hosts! Perfect for me as this was my very first BW adventure. They have a totally fenced yard and my dog, Sam, loved running all over. I’ll definitely stay with them again!
With pleasure we like spend a few words on this stay. Actualy one day extra as we’d been invited to their barbecue and see more of the surroundings of Coeur d’Alene. Staying with these hosts is really enjoyable with their understanding how to make us feeling welcome guests. Thanks Collin an Holly for all the good things. And if your trip next year gives you the opportunity to turn to Bergerac, you’re most welcome. Also without RV.
We have super days had at this family. We are very pleased that we have met them and get to know. They live in a beautiful environment, with a very much place for the RV. We hope H & C in Netherlands the same to be able to give what they have given us. Robert and Nelleke
Collin and his wife, Holly, are truly in a class of their own. At their home, we showered under the stars in their outdoor shower, picked cherries and raspberries, my daughters drove a 4 wheeler, and we shared dinner with them in a divine oasis that they've created on their land. My daughters also played with their sweet dogs, and Collin showed us his woodworking shop. Our family had a wonderful visit, and we hope to see them again in our travels or theirs.
Collin and Holly were overly generous and helpful while we were exploring their beautiful little town! Their spot is about 15 minutes from the lake, private and quiet, and perfect for boondocking! You can uber from their place, bike if you are feeling up to it, and the drive isn’t bad for RV’s at all. They have a fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of space! They showed us their favorite bike ride and were open and kind! Thanks for the exceptional stay! We’ll see you again :)
Wow! We cannot recommend this host too highly. If we had only known how hospitable they were going to be, they would have had trouble getting rid of us. 😉 They welcomed us with open arms, sharing a beer and a chat on the patio....we felt right at home. There are numerous flat camp spots to pick from, all situated in beautiful leafy surroundings....the ranch grounds are a picture. There is even an garden shower out the back. Town is only five minutes away.
If your lucky, you might even get to share some of Holly’s baking.
Isn’t it a real bonus to arrive as strangers but leave as friends. Let’s hope we stay in contact and perhaps meet up again....Australia isn’t that far away Colin.
Thanks for everything.
We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay with our exceptionally kind hosts! There were several grassy spots offered for us to park our r-pod, so lots of room to put out our chairs. The property is completely fenced so our small dog was free to run around and play with our hosts' dogs. Collinc and his wife were friendly and sociable, so we spent part of the day with them going for breakfast and touring the farmer's market. Very nice trip; would definitely like to stay again!
