National Parks camping is my retirement dream

Active Guest

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

I'm a newly retired woman with a National Parks Passport I want to fill with stamps from every National Park, National Forest, and National Monument I can, and I plan to meander the country 3 seasons a year - my daughter will keep a room for me in her house for the winters; always need to be home for Christmas!

Skills & Expertise to Share

I'm a newbie at this, so I'll actually be learning from others this first trip.

I have 3 cats at home but they don't come on the road.

Rig Type: Popup Camper

12 feet long

There are no "selection items" for my car. I don't actually tow a pop-up camper, but those items are the closest description to what I do: I carry all my gear in my Nissan Versa Note (small car) and sleep in a small 2-person dome tent OR in the car if it's raining or I can't find a place to set up camp. I'm hoping that still qualifies me for boondocking - I don't have to set up the tent if people don't want tents on their land.
